Tiger Woods has returned to his home in Florida after a week of family counseling in Arizona, according to a source cited by CNN. The golfer is reportedly working out and preparing for his return to golf. In a televised statement on Feb. 19, his first public appearance since the November car accident that ultimately lead to the revelation of his involvement in numerous extramarital affairs, Woods said he would eventually golf again but would not specify a timetable, saying only that he has not ruled out this year as a possibility. Last week, Gatorade announced that it is the latest company to end its endorsement ties with Woods.

Woods’return is inevitable. But to say he will be in good shape is far fetched. All the discipline he was praised for has been a farce. No doubt he has used performance enhancing drugs, that are no longer available to him. His mind is engaged elsewhere on what everyone watching him is thinking. Neither his body nor his mind will be in the game. He should salvage what he can, retire and find a new career from what money he hasn’t given Elin to stay with him. Some things in life carry a high “consequence” price tag – and adultery with 18 sex partners is one of them. As disgusting as that is, Elin wanting to be with him is worse. Like Mrs. Bryant – she’s getting a lot out of her husband’s sin. Wood’s knee will play into his return and he might even use it as an excuse for the poor performance he’s sure to deliver; when he returns. Who knows; he could even use the knee as an excuse to quit.
I always admired Tiger for his golf abilities and still do. His personal problems are none of my business. I started golfing because of him and enjoy watching it because of him. I’m sick to death of the scum sucking media.
So stop reading the paper or listening to the news because he’s all over it and it’s all bad. If you like him, bury your head because you can’t escape the media.
