If they make her put her hair back to her natural color and length from the hideous fake blonde it is now, I will watch it religiously!

hideous indeed! Why would she go from smokin’ hot brunette, to deep-fried fake blonde?

      • jrbear

to sell records to the country audience. she cut and dyed her hair blond; sings several ‘country-ish’ songs on her new album…i a word she’s become..Kelli Pickler! oh the horrot!

I would have preferred Renee Olstead.

But does she know how to act?

The House Bunny and her CSI NY episode showed no indication that she couldn’t act. I don’t think that she’s taken on anything that has challenged her yet but so far so good. I was not a fan of hers on Idol, but I’ve enjoyed her since then.

Hmmm…interesting casting. I didn’t realize she was trying to get into acting full time. Wasn’t she in that movie with Anna Faris, The House Bunny? Anyone seen it? Can the girl act? She seems likable enough, I guess. Is this going to be a single camera or multi camera comedy?

Saw The House Bunny, which was more charming than it really had any right to be. It was not the most demanding role, but I thought she did a fine job.

  • Idollover

Yes! I agree. It seems to me that she can’t figure out who she is or wants to be! Plus she isn’t distinct, just a copy of someone else.

does anyone know if she is still married?

  • Danno

    No thanks.

  • Adam

Wikipedia tells me that she is guest starring in the March 11 episode of Community. I guess that will be the platform I will use to judge whether or not she can succeed as a sitcom star.
And pj, I believe she is still married.

Sounds kinda like The Big Bang Theory, only in LA. I love Kat though…just PLEASE make her brunette again!

    • Karenlibrarian

The Big Bang Theory IS set in LA.

  • Dembones

I got me a McPheever and the only prescription is more of her delicious gams!

Good Lord! Another hack who managed to get a new sitcome that’s sure to fail on a pathetic network such as NBC! WOW, the decisions this network has been making as of late really amazes me!

  • whatevs

I highly doubt that McPhee has the ability to be funny, so the script must be crap to begin with.

  • manoman

Way to go, KAT!!! Excited for you!!!!

  • susan

I so hope they make her go back to brunette for the role. Or at least find a shade of blonde that flatters her complexion.

Kat is easily the most talented singer ever on A.I.; but lost to country hick..who remembers? Since then, Kat has performed with the cream of the music industry on several ‘class act’ PBS shows.(Like “Hit-Maker”)There,
Her rendition of “Somewhere”, an old Baba Streisand hit..was a breathtaking show stopper. But she hasn’t had a hit record.
Sooo…She cut and dyed her hair blond; sings several ‘country-ish’ songs on her new album…in a word she’s become..Kelli Pickler! oh the horror!

    • Ryangr

The most talented singer ever on A.I.? Uh……no. Not even close. The list starts with Mr. Adam Lambert. She is “Somewhere” way down the list.

Not to be a downer but thousands of pilots are shot every year. Only a handful ever go into production.
