I could see her appearing in a guest role capacity but not actually devoting herself to the Broadway show. And her glee role is way more important she will have plenty of opportunities in the future. Right now it should be all about Glee.
Pfft, if she won’t take the role I will! I love RENT, and know a majority of it by heart, not to mention I’m a Drama Queen to begin with lol
This show doesn’t sound very good to begin with. If Lea were to “quit” Glee to do a show, I would hope she would choose something worth quitting for. I’m a huge musical/theater fan, but I would not see this show. Of course this is based soley on what I’ve read in this article.
Cast Lea in a Funny Girl revival. I’d support her quitting of Glee for THAT.

Well, she would only be able to do it if it opened in like April and she played only till late June, before replacement. She definitely wants a Tony award…….. she might do it, if she believes in the role.
Actors do shows on Broadway all the time while they are on TV shows. They just do limited runs. Edie Falco did it while on The Sopranos, Mary Louise Parker has while on Weeds…the list goes on and on.
Lea is mesmerizing when she sings. Im all support to her, whatever she decides to do. I love the character Rachel Berry and i cant wait for the 14 episode of GLEE!
God help me, I put aside a whole aftrenoon to figure this out.
