Despite the Olympic onslaught, ABC’s The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love managed to hold onto much of its viewership with 11.5 million, a dip of only 800k from the previous week.

Anyone else already fed up with the endless commercials during the Olympics broadcast? I’m not gonna bother watching anymore.
you must be American, I take it you’re watching it on NBC? I agree that MBC cuts to commerocials very often so I’m watching it on CTV (Canadian channel) they hardly have commercials (just air the whole competition usually) and when they do, the commercial break is a minute long at most.
It’s best to just watch it online.
That’s why God invented the DVR.
I start watching about 2 hours in, so I can skip commercials and the sports I don’t care about.
Exactly Carla! I am drunk with power on my DVR..hardly EVER watch live TV anymore. Go USA!
Yours is one of the quotes that advertising agencies use when trying to come up with ways to circumvent that technology in the future.
I feel like I have already seen every episode of “Parenthood” and “The Marriage Ref.” The NBC promos are endless.
You would think they would use this opportunity to promote Community, Parks and Recreation and their other struggling shows but all I’ve seen are promos for Parenthood, the marriage Ref and that ridiculous new game show over and over again. The only promo for a current show I’ve seen is the baby episode of the office. There isn’t a bad decision NBC has not made.
The Winter Olympics will have to add some football competitions if they want to take out The Bachelor. Amazing how well The Bachelor held up against it. But, what happened to 24? It just pancaked sandwiched between The Bachelor and the Winter Olympics.
Doesn’t help that 24 got the Dana Walsh Syndrome. I’m hoping 24 calls it quits after this season. There’s no more fresh ideas coming from the writers…not that this format could sustain itself for too long.
