Alicia Silverstone and director Amy Heckerling will work together again for the first time since 1995′s Clueless, filming a vampire love story called Vamps, according to ScreenDaily.com.
Silverstone and Krysten Ritter (Breaking Bad, Gilmore Girls) are set to star as two modern-day female vampires whose friendship is altered by an outside romance with a mortal; production reportedly begins in April.

What a LOSER! She thinks this is going to make her cool, hip and current again. LOOL
Yeah well atleast shes getting another chance in film. Who r u to degrade her.
bored to death with vampires. i get it, the genre makes money, but between all the remakes and reboots and the supernatural twists, are there no new stories to tell?
really??? do silverstone and heckerling have to jump on the vampire wagon?
But I thought she was a vegetarian?!
oh……good one
*vegan
I love the vampire genre…but yeah, this is too much.
I am sick to death of the vampire genre. I hope the Wolfman does well (even though the movie looks so-so), because werewolf movies are so few and far between
I have to say…I’m a bit intrigued. I despise Twilight, yet love True Blood. So, If this goes in the other direction as a romantic comedy, then it may be fun. I’ll reserve final judgment until the movie is actually made though.
Krysten Ritter as a vampire. Yes please.
Honestly, I could never get sick of vampires, even the overload of lately – but I can not picture Alicia Silverstone as a vampire. Plus, she was too preacy about being vegan…
Wow, a vampire movie…way to go out on a limb
I love vampires (from Dracula and Buffy to Twilight), and I’ll wait to judge this until I actually see it.
Trish, I am with you… make a vamp movie and I’m going to watch it.
I think Alicia Silverstone is great but I am soooo bored with cookie cutter vampire/werewolf/zombie movies out to make a quick buck off the easily entertained. I’ll pass.
With Amy Heckerling working on this, it could be interesting, particularly if the movie has a sense of humor.
I love both Alicia and Krysten Ritter. I dunno, I may have to see this.
I love Alicia! Excited to see her in a vamp comedy series. I know vampires are all the rage today, but a comedy? Interesting. I’m sooo seeing this.
