I’d love to see Stern on AI. It would bring a whole new audience to watch, at least for the novelty of it.
If that pig is hired y Fox for Idol, I will be done with the show forever. They must be nuts to consider someone so controversial.
I would love to see Stern on Idol. He is a tremendously smart and funny man. However, Idol will NEVER have Howard Stern judgin a LIVE show on Fox…never gonna happen.
“IF” FOX were so stupid as to inject Howard as a judge… I’d NEVER watch the show again. Even with the departure of Simon, I’m probably less than a 50/50 chance to watch the show again. Stern is a crude, bigoted jackass… aren’t his 15 minutes up LOOOOOONNNNNGGGG ago???

I like Howard Stern and think he is funny by AI is a family show and he is not family show material at all. This is one of the few shows not on Disney or Nick that I can watch with my son without worrying about too much adult content. That’s all Howard knows. Keep looking Idol or you will lose a lot of watchers!

IDOL does not deserve HOWARD STERN to replace SIMON COWELL. STERN is a radio jock who is very, very nasty & tasteless. I don’t think that IDOL would stoop that low.
I think Howard is fine for what he does, but he’d be terrible on AI (in my opinion.) For one thing, he’s ugly as sin! He definitely has “a face for radio.” Second, he’s way too abrasive for abrasiveness sake. Simon is honest and, at some level, has compassion for the contestants even if he’s harsh. I don’t think Simon says things just for “shock value.”
Howard Stern is a “personality” when he is home & among friends i am sure he is a totally different person–Regis & Kelly have both said this on air several times–& his wife Beth is a professional woman in many ways,i am sure she would not put up with his antics.Give him a break

You can’t ruin a show that is already on it’s way out. It’s a travisty what these people are doing to music. For those of you who say Howard is a pig, wake up. Girls come on the show and want to get naked, Stern airs it, and he gets called a pig. You’re all a bunch of f***king slaves. F Jackie!

No way should he be Simon’s replacement. He supports bad contestants. He wanted to make sure Sanjaya Malakar would stay on “Idol.”
