This is not true. I was there. ?uest never said anything about it being racist. He took the picture and thought it was funny.
Man, NBC cannot catch a BREAK!
Kool-Aid?
I prefer grape soda!
They forgot the watermelon.
A black chef cooks what she thinks is a meal that would honor Black History Month but a group of white people get called racist , about as dumb as “PC” gets.
Why do black people get their own month anyway? What about Latin History Month, or Asian History Month, or Irish History Month? At the very least there should certainly be Native American History Month.
write to your congressperson about this. seems like a worthy issue to bring up.
Moron!
That reply is exactly why Black History Month is a complete and total joke. If we can’t even discuss why it exists– or why everyone who doesn’t have their own month is getting short shrift– without resorting to name calling then it’s obviously not serving what I think is probably part of its purpose: to celebrate racial diversity in America.
Thank you Wakeforce for your amazing insights.
Better be careful and not make corned beef and cabbage on March 17, NBC! Stay away from the green shakes, ya racists!
Official reactions by NBC like this are why FOXNEWS has 9 times the viewers and ratings … NBC are not reporters … they are repeaters, and insane.
I don’t know a single black person who doesn’t like fried chicken. However, I’m not too crazy ’bout potato salad!
To be entirely fair here, nothing NBC did here can be proven as racist: food as general as that transcends all cultures. I know for a fact that both Indian and British cultures have “fried chicken and greens” so I say we just stop labelling food altogether.
