Kirstie Alley’s new reality series, Kirstie Alley’s Big Life, is set to hit the A&E cable network with back-to-back premiere episode on March 21 at 10 p.m. EST, according to a press release from the network this morning. The show is set to “chronicle the extraordinary life of Golden Globe and two-time Emmy winner Kirstie Alley from her journey with her weight loss program to her life as a single mother trying to raise two normal teenagers in the Hollywood spotlight.” In a statement, Alley, the star Fat Actress, Cheers, and Veronica’s Closet, said: “This show has been cathartic for me…show me who I really am…again. And it’s really freaking funny.”

Big…. life? Is that what they’re calling it now?
another reason to avoid A&E – Kristie needs to take her so called life off the air. Cathartic or not – she’s just annoying
THe only reason to watch A&E is for Intervention, Criminal Minds reruns and CSI:Miami reruns. At least that’s the only reason I watch it.
I guess as long as its funny, it’s okay? Ms. Allen’s delusional statements and behavior can be somewhat entertaining. But maybe she should look at getting some therapy rather than trying to milk a buck out of her craziness? Oh, never mind, that’s not gonna happen as long as someone’s willing to air the next hot mess.
Kirstie is one big walking tragedy. I have no sympathy for her, but I do feel bad for the people who root for her. As for her getting therapy, it ain’t gonna happen as long as she stays in Scientology. That cult treats mental illness more like a attitude problem & less like a serious health disorder.
