I started watching Days in “66 when I had my first child. Alice was a great role model I am now a grandmother and hope to be adored by my grandson as Alice was by all of hers. May she rest in peace. Thank you Alice for all the hours of entertainment.

    Rest in Peace “Mrs. H.”

I am so sad to hear of the passing of Mrs. H. I have been watching Days since the beginning. Mrs. H was a smart, loving lady and always gave great advice. If she were here now, she would give Bo a BIG piece of her mind.

I, too, watched from the first day and loved Alice thru the years. I loved her gorgeous hair and grace. She played so many parts over the years. I loved her and Beau playing detective together. She had a storyline with most everyone, more playful after “Tom” died. Yeah, many a cookie and do-nut came out of the kitchen while the Hortons shared their lives. Please continue the Xmas tree ball hanging tradition because it brought all of us watchers together as if we were really a part of the group there. Did they really have to drop reading the Xmas story to the children at the hospital? I loved Doug doing that. The show has been so much family…no matter how crazy and flip-flopped it has gotten. I think everyone is related to everyone. Won’t it be funny if they discover Melanie is Carly and Beau’s so she is Phillip’s half sister….yikes!!!!! ha, ha, ha

If that came to be true (wouldn’t Carly have said something already, she knows Melanie is marrying Phillip) Melanie would be Phillip’s niece, not his half-sister. Bo and Phillip are half-brothers.

I’ve watched Days for 31 years and have grown to call my own grandmother, “gran”!! She was an icon and will forever be remembered!! I hope they have a fitting tribute for her on the show!

So sad to hear about Ms Reid. She was and always will be a part of Days of Our Lives. I’ve been watching for years. It will not be the same without her beautiful face to grace the screen. She will truly be missed by not only her fans, but her Days family. RIP, Francis. May God watch over you in Heaven.

Frances Reid was the icon of class. She reminded me so much of my own beloved grandmother. I will miss her just as much.

  • Cathie

Times like this I would call my grandmother – I’ve known this beautiful lady ALL OF MY LIFE – she will be sadly missed – my heart goes out to her family and the DOOL family – she will remain in our hearts as my Nan remains in mine. XOXOXO

I was shocked that todays stupid show was not canceled to honor Frances Reid!
