Former teen idol Leif Garrett was arrested for drug possession on Monday in Los Angeles. The musician/actor, 48, was approached and searched by Transit Service officers at 11:20 a.m. at a downtown Metrolink trainstop. He was released early this morning after posting bond and is due back in court on Feb. 24.

I was shocked too because I thought he was clean but according to an AP article he was arrested for almost the exact same thing in 2006 as well. Seems like he should stay away from the LA subway. Leif—please get some help! I wish you great health and help for your addiction!

I feel bad for him. Posters of him hung on my wall. I even have him on my ipod. I hope he get the help he needs. He seems so sad and troubled.
He has made a career out of going to rehab clinics. There comes a point where he needs to pull his head out of his own behind and quit being a chump. You can only call wolf three or four-hundred times and get any sympathy. lol
We all had people we thought a lot about, but in reality I had to grow up myself and it was something I had to do, no one else could do it for me. Leif has had way more opportunities than most of the people in the world. He has even been on television in the last few years making a living. That is more than most disco era child stars have. I do not want to cause any hard feelings, but it is time for Leif to grow up just like the rest of the people of the seventies have had to do. I get so tired of hearing about how people are sick and it is not their fault. We set them up to fail with an attitude like that. It is their fault and they need to recognize their place in the problem. After seeing someone who has had so many chances in the last twenty years it is time to move on to someone who is more likely to help them selves.
An old has been who was a one hit wonder back in the disco days. He sucked then, and he really sucks now. He is on one of the shows called Americas biggest losers with Tanya Harding the Olympic ice skater who tried to take out the competition by breaking her leg. plus there is the guy from the old show the Partridge Family and a few other morons that we can all laugh at that were child stars who never stopped taking drugs and getting arrested every few weeks for holding up a Jack in the box to buy dope and other wonderful stunts like that. It is just a great show. America’s most stupid criminals is the name of the show I think. It is about as stupid as the idiots who are on it. You get the idea.
