Wow! I just wonder now what the Blu-Ray sales will be like? I’m looking forward to the 3 or 4 disc “Special Edition Directers Extended Ultra Cut” They’ve gotta do something special for its release.
I don’t understand this, the movie was just ok
I agree, but Titanic wasn’t the greatest either. I guess simple straight forward movies with an epic feel do really well. That or the Devil made good on his deal with Cameron for his soul. (Satan in that case give me a call)
Totally agree with the Aliens part. This just revitalizes the movie industry into a new era (3-D) and hopefully will take us to other new places we’ve never been. I still take pride in knowing I’ve seen smaller films like (500) Days Of Summer that most the population will never see. Those are the gems that mean something to me. Avatar is an event picture it will always make more money. Let’s all be happy that our favorite medium is still setting records!
Not even his best movie. EW did an article where people could rank his movies and Aliens was by far the favorite. Baffling.
yeh, you post that at every article about Avatar. You’re like a bad STD that won’t go away. Stop giving everyone the Shamrock syphie.
Awww, did I hurt your Avatard feelings. Not my fault he rips others off. Go check out “Call Me Joe”
So a self selecting EW.com poll somehow defines the entire 6.5 billion people on Earth’s ranking of Cameron’s films? May I suggest an elementary course in statistics. Fine, you didn’t like the film that much, obviously plenty did.
Besides, relax, it’s just the gross revenue, right? There’s still 20 films that have higher attendance. Of course, one of them is Cameron’s Titanic, so what you gonna do, people evidently like these type of films.
Dang, I’ve been going to avatar posts just to see if A and Shamrock are in it, and so far every one!
Well, A isn’t in this one… yet.
James cameroon-the king, please dont babble about the inflation,3-D ticket prices, ticket sales.
Avatar was a great escapist movie. I hope it continues to kick a*&!!
