The titular character in the 2001 David Spade vehicle Joe Dirt is slated to become the animated star of his own primetime show on TBS, according to the Hollywood Reporter. As in the film, Spade will develop the script around Dirt as a “mullet-sporting, muscle-car-loving loser with a heart of gold.”
