'Howl' producers plan Linda Lovelace film

The producers of Howl, the Allen Ginsberg story which world premiered at Sundance last night, have a new biopic in the works. Their film Lovelace will examine the life of 1970s porn star Linda Lovelace, ScreenDaily.com reports. Lovelace, born Linda Boreman, rose to fame with Deep Throat and later became a feminist, anti-porn activist. W Merritt Johnson wrote the screenplay based in part on Eric Danville’s biography The Complete Linda Lovelace. The film, which goes into production later this year, will be told through the perspective of three interviewers meeting Boreman at different stages of her life.

    I hope the new Lovelace movie brings to light the near loss of 1st ammendment rights and the efforts of Harry Reems, Alan Dershowitz and Richard Dreyfus influence to overturn jail convictions back in the 70s
