Britney Spears went to court today for a closed hearing with her father, Jamie, as part of her ongoing conservatorship case, People.com reports. The courtroom was closed because the hearing involved medical information about the pop star, whose father has had control of the 28-year-old’s affairs since her mental breakdown nearly two years ago. The check-in with the judge was a routine part of the process in such cases. She will have to prove she’s able to manage her own affairs for her father’s control to be lifted.

I hope her dad stays in charge. She is way too vulnerable to all the crazies in Hollyweird. Too bad nobody put Elvis of Jacko into one of these conservatorships. They could have used them.
