'Slumdog Millionaire' director to direct 'Frankenstein' on stage

Danny Boyle, the director of Trainspotting, 28 Days Later, and the Oscar-sweeping Slumdog Millionaire, will helm a stage adaptation of Frankenstein at England’s National Theater, according to Yahoo News.

The story, based on Mary Shelley’s Gothic horror novel, has been adapted many times for both the stage and the screen; the Boyle-mounted theatrical run is slated to begin in either late 2010 or early 2011.
