Didn’t they film all of them in Hawaii??
Either way, if Johnny Depp doesn’t do this movie, then they’re wasting their money. No one will see it.

They filmed the movies in the Caribbean, I agree, if Johnny isn’t in it, who cares.
The first one was the best though

I agree. “Pirates” 2 & 3 were beyond bad. I mean, my God!

Let’s hope to God the film is 90 minutes.

“On Stranger Tides” is a real barn-burner of a pirate story by Tim Powers. Does anyone know if they bought the rights? I always thought the initial Pirates film felt more like this book than legally comfortable. Blackbeard is the main villain of the piece and an important part of the story is in the Carolina bays, which is not much like Hawaii.

    The movie:

    MUST be 90 minutes
MUST not have Davey Jones in it
MUST not have anything to do with “Trading Routes” (See Star Wars Episode I–shudder!)
    MUST not have 100 subplots
MUST be the final one in the series. Please Mickey, PLEASE!!
