Weinstein Co. delays 'Piranha 3-D'

Filed under: News and tagged: ,

Piranha 3-D, the fish story starring Elisabeth Shue and Adam Scott, has been postponed from its scheduled April 16 release until August, at the earliest. The Los Angeles Times reported The Weinstein Co. claims that its decision to move the film has nothing to do with the company’s finances, but the delay is the latest in a series of Weinstein release-day postponements, which have included The Road and Hoodwinked Too.
