Although I will probably still watch American Idol (at least just to see if I want to continue watching), the show will never be the same without Simon. He brings a particularly original element to the show that can’t be replaced because it has a character all its own. Simon is part of the entire American Idol experience. Even the contestants want his approval above all others. He will be missed.
