Channing Tatum (G.I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra) is in talks to join the cast of Steven Soderbergh’s spy movie Knockout. The film stars mixed martial artist and former American Gladiator “Crush,” Gina Carano, as a spy who is betrayed by one of her teammates. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tatum will play an agent in her spy cell and train with a Mossad agent to research the role.
Michael Angarano (Snow Angels, Jack’s son Elliot on Will & Grace) is also in negotiations to join the cast, which is rounded out by Michael Douglas, Michael Fassbender, Ewan McGregor and Dennis Quaid. He’ll play a teen who comes to Carano’s aide and becomes her pseudo partner.

I don’t begrudge Channing Tatum working but how does he keep getting cast for roles. His acting is so wooden trees are jealous.
Why would anyone hire this guy? He is seriously one of the worst actors I have ever watched on film.
He talks like a punch-drunk boxer and looks like a beat-up potato.
well if anyone can make Channing good in a film, it’s soderbergh
He sure is racking up the roles now. I remember his Step Up days.
