Lifetime has canceled its sitcom Rita Rocks, according to Variety. The series, which starred Mad TV’s Nicole Sullivan, ran for two seasons on the network.

Really liked the cast, but the few times I watched this show, it was absolutely terrible, so no surprise.
Nicole Sullivan is really funny. Her talent was wasted on that show. Same goes for the black lady on there.

I so agree. Nicole and the cast did a great job with the awful material on the show. Nonetheless, I’ll still miss it…:(
It seems like, if you guys are fond of the actors (and I like Sullivan) but hated the show, you should be glad that “Rita Rocks” got cancelled.
This should free them up to do something, you know, good.

Sheri’s show is actually pretty funny when it is just the her and the co-workers.

its hard to find a clean, funny show these days & Rita Rocks, though not damm funny, definitely made me laugh.

I agree I think Rita Rocks was very funny and I will miss it very much. I also enjoy Sherri (good clean sitcoms-guess we can’t handle that anymore!)
There are not too many shows on TV that make me laugh out loud. Rita Rocks was one of them. I am sad to see it go.

I started watching it on netflix with my family and we really enjoyed it. Its sad that the show got canceled.
Damn, i was a big fan of Nicole Sullivan and the show made me laugh, but yeah i guess it was a little boring at times, hopefully she’ll get into something else soon
