Michael Jackson death certificate ruling homicide appears online

Filed under: News and tagged:

The amendment to Michael Jackson’s death certificate declaring that his June 25 passing was due to “acute propofol intoxication” and “intravenous injection by another,” has been published online. EW has confirmed with the L.A. County coroner’s office that the document, which is part of the public record, is genuine. Jackson’s death was officially ruled a homicide last August.

On Friday afternoon, Jane Robison, a spokeswoman for the L.A. district attorney’s office, told EW that recent reports claiming Dr. Conrad Murray, Michael Jackson’s physician, will be indicted on charges of involuntary manslaughter are false. “Nothing has changed,” Robison said. “It’s a bogus report. We don’t have the case.”

A spokeswoman for Dr. Murray also sent EW the following statement: “We have refused to comment on stories involving unnamed sources and will continue to do so. However, we can confirm that we have not received notice of an impaneled grand jury and Dr. Murray has not been invited to testify. J. Michael Flanagan was added to Dr. Conrad Murray’s defense team this past week. His offices are in Glendale, California.” As we previously reported, Flanagan is the attorney who represented Britney Spears in a hit-and-run case. He told the AP he once also successfully defended a nurse who was acquitted in an L.A. trial after being accused of administering propofol to a patient who died.

I do hope that the so called Dr. Murray will finally be held legally accountable for his lethal incompetence. And hopefully this entire tragic mess can move closer to a final conclusion…and closure.

    • carol Smith

I think he should answer for MJ’s death, and when the appropriate time comes, Im sure we will all feel better. I cannot believe he is allowed to practice medicine until its over. I cant believe people would actually go to him!

      • MJ

It’s my own fault I’m dead….leave Dr. Murray alone!

    • Muffy

MJ wanted it! The Doc will get a slap on the wrist. He better not work for anymore junkies.

      • DEOCEAN

1st of all,i been in love with micheal ever since i can remember.HE’S NOT A JUNKIE!!IT REALLY HURT WHEN PEOPLE OUT HERE COULD BE SO MEAN TO A WONDERFUL MAN THAT CHANGES THE WORLD FOR U&ME!!!!!

    • MJ 101

damn skippy may MJ rest in peace

    • woody

Hey, maybe it was an accident. Who knows, but if he did do it, then i wish we had the death penalty!

  • roy

OMG, I know, who did this and why! Rip, Mich

    • beLIEve

So why don’t you tell us WHO and WHY then? Spill it.

  • brad

you gotta be kidding. MJ wanted this injected, he was hooked on opium. If anything this should go down as a physician assisted suicide.

    • donna

just because he wanted it don’t make the doctor off. if you handed me a gun and beg me to shoot you and i did, what you think would happen to me?

      • Jenn

I absolutely agree he is a doctor he should know better than giving him drugs he didn’t need!!!!!

      • amj

I absolutely agree too! The doctor could have said no but I guess he would have lost that giant monthly salary. Doctor first, money later.

    • Elizabeth

OOPs correction to last sentence that How could he or anyone else say he did nothing wrong is beyond me. That is why he went to school or so I assume that he did He definitely needs to answer for what he did. He killed Michael from propofol and other sedatives mixed together. The autopsy says that. “PROPOFOL AND A MIXTURE OF OTHER SEDATIVES. He put the needle in Michaels arm. There was noone forcing him to. He did it. THe police couldnt find him after either. He knows he did it. He needs to stop practicing and needs to answer for what he did. Michael would be here if it wasnt for DR? Murray. I choke up when I call him a DR He killed MIchael. THere is no doubt

      • MJ Fan

        Amen.

      • coral

MJ Fan. I totally agree with you. nomatter which way you look at it, mjs life was stolen by that excuse for a doctor.

      • Isha

There will never be anyone, in our liftimes anyway, as talented and dedicated to his work and passionate towards the ill, the earth, all children. His charisma and character mesmerized many generations. The tragedy of his untimely death has taken our breath away. WHY? WHY? Why did this happen? the media and the court system are an embarassment to all of america… Michael shared his wonderful talents, his love for all humanity. he was doing all he could, to get the message to all people in all continents, to please do your part to take care of your land, and together we could all save the earth… for future generations. That was his message to us. He was living beneath his intellecual means; with the greed and ignorance that surrounds us all. I feel blessed to be here to feel his intense impact on the world. He was and is a King. Gone Much Much too Soon!! Justice must prevail, that quack murphy must be stopped. Or it may not just cause a riot.. but an Earthquake!! Anyone with a soul that feels, as deeply as human nature will allow, understands the power of love and loyality. There are many many more lovers than haters, we can not, will not allow history to go any other way…
also i hope june 25th becomes an officially regognized memorial day for MJ. He earned it.Let us all honor it! I cry and cry and cry,but it is still true,HE IS GONE. let us not forget his message; live and let live. love, smile, and keep your area on this planet healthy. GOD BLESS ALL OF US! and MICHAEL JACKSON YOU HAVE CHANGED THE WORLD! see you on your crescent moon. i feel your love in the breeze… peace.

MJ fans – VH1’s Critic’s Choice Awards are coming January 15th. You can vote for you favorite movie on-line. “This Is It” has been nominated for Best Documentary. Help make Michael’s concert prep documentary win by casting your vote on the VH1’s Critic’s Choice Awards web site. This will be a small way to say thank you to MJ for the wonderful memories he left us of his musical legacy. Bravo Michael!!

      • Rick

“He was living beneath his intellectual means.” I’m having a hard time with this one. He was an entertainer with a GREAT deal of talent, passion and compassion; but he wasn’t a rocket scientist. He did a lot of good things for a lot of people outside of music but let’s be careful how high we set that pedistal so many have insisted on put him on over the years. Too many have/are putting him on SUCH a high pedistal and SO far into the clouds that he almost stops being a real human anymore. I think HE was even starting to drink too much of his own cool-aide after a while…hence his occassional delusion comments. Anyway, I’m not trying to rain on anyone’s parade. Love and loyalty are good things when kept in perspective. He was just a guy, who took a dump in the can everyday like anyone else, not a “God”. No earthquakes, no official days. Just enjoy his music for heaven sakes. Anyway, those are just my thoughts.

      • Rick

By the way, I was responding to Isha’s post on Mon 01/11/10 1:50 PM.

      • Emma

Michael was not perfect. No doubt, he would say that himself, if he were alive. But chronic juggling of debts, and having a dependency brought on by over 15 years of the most vicious personal attack I have ever seen – is the reason why people are upset and angry.

It’s not about what Michael did – its about what was done to him.

        It was a total disgrace,

      • Amen

You’re absolutely right. Over the past 15+ years Michael had been the focus of what can only be described as a witch-hunt which drove a gentle soul further into seclusion. I don’t think I would have held up under such relentless, destructive and unnecessary personal attacks as long as Michael did. Sickening! As you said, it was a total disgrace.

      • sherry mj fan forever

I totally agree with you doctors take a oath their responsibilty is to the patient not to fatten their wallets. The moment the thought crossed his mind to inject michael he knew exactly what he was doing and the outcome his actions could cause.

    • EveClayton

Dr. Murray is wrong! It doesnt matter if MJ wanted it, Conrad as a doctor should have said no. He let greed come in the way. If you were a doctor and ur patient asked for something that u know they could suffer from, would u say yes? I cant wait for the trail to start and for him to be sentenced, he took our King of Pop away, and a father from three young kids! Remember that!

    • Lauren

IF HE WANTED IT like you say noone knows what actually happened apart from Michael and the doctor and Doctor Conrad Murray should have known better he could have said no and M.J will still be alive today and he shouldn’t have left the room when he was in trouble and should have known not to perform CPR on a bed as it MUST be done on a hard surface. Yeah, you can blame M.J all you want but, Doctor Murray could have said no as he may have known what the outcome would have been instead of being negligent and left him in the room and then come back and find the patient unconscious and not breathing???. When if someone is under propofol you monitor them at ALL TIMES.

    • Clive

Michael was a human being who was addicted…it is the medical professions obligation to help and assist him-not kill him. Blatant malpractice.

      • Valerie

You said it! Totally blatant malpractice!

  • Mrsducho

    I agree with Brad.

    • Elizabeth

WOW! People amaze me. I am beyond words. I hope you have a better DR then Michael did. WOW the things people say. Wow I cant stop saying that

      • MJ Fan

Michael was known to be addicted to Demerol, which is an opiate. Brad is not entirely wrong. However, opiates weren’t found in MJ’s system when he died.

  • Tom Joyce

Opium? First time I heard that. When did you get your information – one of the rags? Anyway, he hired Murray specifically to monitor him and keep him safe.

    • MJ Fan

Just for info: Michael was known to have been addicted to Demerol. Demerol, a synthetic version of Morphine, is considered an opiate pain medication like Morphine. It acts the same way as Morphine. Morphine is naturally derived from Opium. Immediately after Michael’s death it was thought he died of a Demerol over-dose but infact it was of Propofol which is not an opiate. Opiates were not reported to be in his system when he died. Anyway, back to your point, as a medical professional, Murray was SUPPOSED to keep his patient safe like you said. He clearly didn’t.

      • Tom Joyce

I know what Demerol is; I have a good friend suffering from liver damage as a result of Demerol addiction. If the leaked autopsy results were correct Jackson not only had no Demerol, or other opiates, is his system, but his liver was healthy. This would argue that he was in fact not addicted or a least was not a regular user, which is hard to do if you are addicted, but not impossible. When the official report is issued it may be different though.

However, my real point is not only did Michael Jackson not have a death wish or participate in his own death, but he actually hired a doctor to make sure he didn’t die.

  • NOT-A MJ Fan

Thanks Dr. Murray you did us a favour.

    • Romana

If you’re “Not-a MJ Fan” why are you reading this? You posted a dumb comment only to insult the fans?In which way did Murray do you a favour, you imbecile you? Was your sorry life so oppressed by Michael being alive?Get the hell back to your infant age group

    • MJ Fan

You’ve done it now, NOT-A MJ Fan. You’ve opened the flood gates with that comment.

    • NOT-A MJ Fan

MJ was a child molester get a life you bleading heart morons !!

      • MJ Fan

The accusations against MJ are very few and have never been proven. THOUSANDS of kids had been to Neverland over the years. Many of them brought in by organizations such as Make-A-Wish foundation. How come no else has come forward and complained over the years? Especially as many of these children have since become adults. During MJ’s trial 5 years ago, investigators interviewed dozens of children, now young adults, that stayed over his house. They couldn’t find anyone else that had a problem with him. I think THAT is very telling by itself. MJ had is issues (and I never liked the sleep-over thing that he did) but I don’t believe he criminally abused anyone’s kids…ever! I’ve never even seen anyone write a blog saying they had been abused by MJ when they were a child. Not even anonymously! If it had been me, I would post an anonymous blog about it and encourage others to do the same! Accusations do not equal guilt. The End.

      • rm

Well, moron, you can’t even spell the word “bleeding.”

      • ubong

mj was a child molester. you idiot. did you know tht one of the kids fathers commited suicide. huh did. and u wanna kno why. causeh e was guilty for doing all he di to mj. so you calling him a child molester. just go and tht to the trillions of mj fans like me and see wats gunna happen to you. and i hope you feel guilty cause your ine of the many peole who caused mj to die. and all the music yu listen all those artist were inspired by mj. even the rockers you can just ask slash who worked with. plus you called millions of people morons you don’t realize how many fans mj has. may god and mj forgive

      • Doug

Yes, Evan Chandler, the father of Jordie Chandler, did commit suicide. But it’s wishful thinking to feel it was out of guilt. He was in his 60′s and had been treated for cancer and pain management problems which he couldn’t deal with anymore. As far as MJ is concerned I doubt Chandler lost much sleep over the misery he caused MJ.

      • MJJisLovedForever

He was not a child molester. For those of you who like to say this just to start trouble…the FBI tried to get schit on him for TEN YEARS and came up with NOTHING, why? Because he didn’t do anything wrong. They should have spent their time looking for Bin Laden instead of trying to crucify an innocent man. IF THE FBI CAN’T FIND IT…IT’S NOT THERE. MJJ TOTALLY INNOCENT you just hate the fact that it’s true. Too bad for you. WE LOVE YOU MICHAEL JOSEPH JACKSON!!

      • MJ Fan

Absolutely true. I forgot to mention the FBI info that was released recently.

      • carmela

        are you on drugs….

      • Lauren

NOT A MJ FAN why post on here if you are not a fan you idiot? go away

      • Mae

I heard you was one too so you are even.Fool

      • ConcernedSoul

RM – Hahahahah well pointed out my friend. Ignorant ass that he is, couldn’t even spell. Not-A-MJ-Fan, please crawl back under the rock that you surfaced from and keep your moronic comments to yourself.

      • Clive

such a display of ignorance…have you actually read redemption ot Conspiracy? if you could read these, you would change your mind.

      • Elizabeth

THere is nothing worse then a judgemental ignorant hypocrite. I wonder what we would find on Not A MJ Fan. Michael would never say anything against anyone he didnt know about. He definitely is the better person. I unfortunately am not as good as MJ. YOu have no idea about what you are talking about so keep you mouth shut & take your foot out of your mouth. Michael did not do anything wrong. I lose faith in people because of this jerk. I hate people who talk out of the side of their mouth. You have no right to say anything. Keep your stupid opinions to yourself. Why dont you learn about the case that obviously you know nothing about. Maybe someday someone will accuse you of something you didnt do so you can see how it feels. I hope it does happen. There doesn’t have to be no evidence, just someone who talks that is disproved with anything they say, Also that has nothing to do with this so I agree with others to crawl back under your rock & stay there. It amazes me how ignorant people are. I am so stunned that there are people like this guy

    • rachael

      you idiot. go away.

    • Elizabeth

You are so messed up. Why dont you go to him. I hope you get what you deserve. Michael never would say that or talk about you or anyone. HMMM I wonder who the better person is. If you like him so much go to him, Please

    • EveClayton

Listen, if u dont like MJ shut ur mouth and dont come here and comment. Tons and Tons of his fans are waiting for Justice and Dr. Murray will go down, if not by the courts, by MJ himself …in spirit. MJ was a sweet person and didnt deserve any of the torments he went through. Dont come here and call him names or say bad things, enough is enough. Those of u MJ haters, are just jealous that u rnt loved they way he was loved, and could never be as sexy as he was. All of u are just jealous idiots who dont know truth from lies. Do ur research before u talk!

    • kiasha0007

Michael was a beautiful human being. The only reason why some haters say things is because of the media. The media isn’t always right. Its hard to believe that he is gone but just like his brother Marlon said maybe now they will leave him alone.

    • daniela

      Go to hell!

    • nedruoj

that real stupid to say dummy michael will alaways be in my heart u r so wrong.but i am a michael jackson fan.I will alaways love u michael alaways.

  • Mimi

look, i’m a fan of the music and him as a performer. the guy himself had lost it. but that doesnt mean that this should have happened. no matter how much a patient can begg from something, as a docter, you swore to keep your patients safe. that’s not what he did, so there should be consequenses. no matter if he’s michael or my neighbor, this is wrong.

  • Sarah

The doctor is guilty. The DA knows how MJ died, they know how administered the drugs, so what else do they need?

If you or I had injected someone and the person died, we would be in jail before the ink on our arrest warrant was dry|

  • David M.

Why would he wanted to die? Life is to short…If he realy wanted to die, he would do this a long time ago! Se you in heaven Michael.

    • MJ Fan

The only reason he was still alive was because of his own kids. Otherwise he probably would have checked-out a long time ago. Very sad.

      • Elizabeth

Not True. He had a lot of things planned like more music, a clothing line, directing, SO so not true

      • MJ Fan

I very respectfully disagree with you. Yes, he did have those other things planned, just as you said, but they weren’t the reason he got out of bed everyday. Eating meals with his kids everyday, helping them with their homework, watching movies with them, celebrating their birthdays, shopping for them, etc. That’s what got him up in the morning. Without them he wouldn’t have been doing the other things. Please listen to his interviews. He says this himself very clearly.

    • MJJisLovedForever

He did NOT want to die. He wanted to live forever, or maybe you’ve forgotten that.

      • MJ Fan

Most autographs MJ signed in the 80′s and 90′s were signed with the date 1998. He didn’t expect to live past 40 yrs old. He thought he would go the way Elvis did. This is sadly twisted thinking but it is true. MJ did not want to live forever, he was petrified of growing old…this is a sad fact.

      • Elizabeth

He didnt think he was old, He said in interviews less then a year before “You havent seen nothing yet. THe best is to come. I have a lot of projects I am working on so fortunately you are not correct

      • MJ Fan

Yes, I’ve heard those interviews too. Again, he is still alive today because of his children, which he started having in his late 30′s. His life revolved around being a dad first and everything else followed. His kids were what sustained him and gave him the motivation to do the other things you mentioned.

      • MJ Fan

I mean alive up until June 25, that is.

      • MJJisLovedForever

He did not want to die but he did not want to grow old. He wanted to live forever but not in the literal sense is what I meant. And I agree with him…aging is horrible.

      • MJ Fan

O.K. I can agree with you that he wanted to “live forever” but not in a literal sense, but in terms of his art. He felt his “immortality” was bound in his art. He was quoting from the artist Michael Angelo. And of course most people would agree that growing old can be scary, although it shouldn’t have to be.

      • @MJJisLovedForver

“He did not want to die, he wanted to live forever”….ha EPIC FAIL!!!!

      • Valerie

NOT an epic fail…fool!! He’ll live forever in his music…or did you forget that!

    • metthew

But those childrens wasn’t even his own childrens. Don’t tell me he was still alive just for them! He was a king of pop for god sake!

      • MJ Fan

Yes, he WAS a “King of Pop” as you said. But it’s not enough by itself. That title hadn’t been making him money over the last 10+ years and he had been living off his assest and racking up huge debts. He HAD to dust of his crown and go back to work or loose everything.

      • MJ Fan

He was definitely living for them only. Natural or adopted doesn’t matter, he was devoted to them. His life LITERALLY revolved around his children and this is well documented. He has implied this himself in interviews. Infact he has said that if he was still around as an “old man” he would permanently stay behind his gates and only continue to do things for his kids and charities. That’s it. He didn’t want to be doing the “Michael Jackson” thing at 60.

      • MJJisLovedForever

Those kids ARE his 100percent! Why, because ANYthing you pay for is 100percent YOURS. They aren’t biologically his but they are HIS, just as anyone who pays adoption fee’s do the same thing. Those are MJ’s kids and always will be. Being a parent doesn’t just mean it has to be biological. And, I will add…he was the BEST dad anyone could have been! Case closed.

      • MJJisLovedForever

And that comment is for haters who don’t think MJ’s kids are his. THEY ARE.

      • MJ #1 Fan/Marilia

What do u mean those kids weren’t his own? First of all,MJ had custody.so he was the one who fed, housed, clothed, and took care of them as a dad, therefore, they are his kids, end of story. Besides,he was married to the mother of his 2 oldest kids, remember? and off course,we all know that when you’re married and you have kids together while you’re married,it don’t matter if your kids are biologicaly yours or not, they still belong to both parents. Anyways, the mother(his ex-wife) gave him full custody.
Oh,and btw; MJ has said in past that it was his sperm, and i believe him,so they are his biological kids, even The youngest one who was from a saragate mother, whom MJ promised not to mention her name ever, for she did not want to be known.
Oh,i almost forgot,i heard that his oldest son has vitiligo just as MJ had,and if that’s true then it proves they are his biological kids.
You know can be black and have white kids as long as one of the parents is white. Look,at Nicole Richie and Mariah Carey. They have black but they don’t look it at all.
Anyways,It’s not your business,It’s was MJs business how he choice to have kids. Please, just leave him alone and let him rest in peace!
Respect the dead for crying out loud.

        r.i.p,i love MJ forever,babes!

  • marco

one small thing – what possible Motive would this doctor have?
He has absolutely nothing whatsoever to gain by doing this intentionally. He may have had some very faulty judgement, but beyond that…

    marc

    • MJ Fan

No, there was no intent here, just incompetence. I believe he’ll eventually be charged with involuntary manslaughter which is concidered an accidental homicide.

      • MJ Fan

That is, an accidental death at the hands of another.

    • MJ #1 Fan/Marilia

What motive? the motive was money and he got careless then when he realized he Killed poor MJ,he was trying to cover his ass.Doctor death(murry)should have known better. He was suppose to be a doctor.

  • Cecilia

Dr. Murray and other greedy criminal doctors, according to Deepa Chokra, should all go to jail. And we as people should value our artists and have compassion and respect for Michael. He was phenomenal and he was trying and he was only human as he sings in Will You Be There? Have you all listened to that song? All the haters ignorants upthere should contemplate the idea of being humble and acting with L.O.V.E. as Michael would say.

  • Mansi Arora

I love Michael Jackson for many reasons. He was hard working. Check out his list of achievements and the list of awards he has won. His perseverance. He gave his best. And he believed that whatever you do in life give your best. Even if you clean the floor, mob the floor like no one has ever cleaned like that. he loved art and he believed that God gives us talents and skills to make a difference and contribute to this world. He was very humble. He never took success for granted. He loved his fans. He even use to buy pizza for fans who used to wait outside the hotel room all night long. I love his for the charity work. he donated every night from History Tour. Wherever he went he donated to hospitals. He was a great singer, he was a great dancer, and he was a great musician. He has inspired and motivated many people.

    • Valerie

Don’t forget that he also donated what he earned from the Dangerous tour to charity. Everything!

  • MJJisLovedForever

The motive was the money he was going to be paid, greed will get you every time. He could have said NO and MJ would still be with us. And how can he afford this lawyer when he can barely pay child support!!!!

    • MJ Fan

The fees wouldn’t come due until a verdict has been determined. Since they tend to charge an hourly rate the lawyers will keep track of every hour they work on this case. If they win, Murray goes back to his practice and starts a payment plan. There usually isn’t a charge if the client loses. Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.

      • MJJisLovedForever

NO, the motive is the money that MJ was paying him to be his doctor, I wasn’t talking about the upcoming trial for this killer. Dr. Murray only cared about the money that MJ was going to pay him each month. That’s why he gave him drugs that should only be administered in a hospital.

      • MJ Fan

That’s fine. I agree with you on Murray’s motive. I was just responding to you commenting on how Murray can afford his lawyers when he can’t even pay child support. That’s all.

      • MJ Fan

That’s fine. I agree with you on Murray’s motive. I was responding to your second comment on how Murray can afford lawyers when he can’t afford child support. That’s all.

      • MJJisLovedForever

Oh no problem, I thought you meant something else. Yeah, I agree w/what you said. Sorry for the misunderstanding :)

      • MJ Fan

        No problem.

  • MJJisLovedForever

He will live forever in all that he did, video’s, interviews, music, etc. He will never truly die. WE LOVE YOU MICHAEL JOSEPH JACKSON, WE LOVE YOU FOREVER.

  • MJJisLovedForever

HE WAS THE SWEETEST PERSON ON THE FACE OF THIS EARTH.

    • MarkD

Really? “The sweetest person on Earth”? You must be kidding. I’m no MJ hater but he wasn’t so sweet. If he were he would have made sure that the little people working for him got paid. He had a tendency to stiff the help because he was so out of control wasteful. You need to see a psychiatrist if you really believe he was so sweet.

I am a fan of MJ and there is much to love about him and he could be a sweet generous person but I also live in the real world and unfortunately MarkD is correct about MJ “stiffing” the help at times. It would tend to take the form of such things as not providing adequate healthcare benefits, etc.

They did and he was the sweetest & best person in the world. We can only aspire to be like him. He gave lots to people that were less off & that included his employees & millions of people. His employees lived well & did have healthcare. Granted there are some of them who want to be greedy but what is new about that Our world is full of that

He was incredibley generous with his giving but he did un-intentionally get lax with his employees according to the State of California:

(CNN) — “California officials have fined Michael Jackson nearly $170,000 and ordered employees at the pop star’s Neverland Ranch to stop working, after finding that employees had not been paid since December and the ranch’s workers’ compensation coverage had been allowed to lapse.”

I’m not trying to be difficult, just trying to keep the facts straight.

The money issue may be tagged with MJ’s name on it, but you have to remember, he had financial advisors, he had treasurers, he had assistants who took care of the bills. Michael always had someone who was taking care of that stuff when he first got famous. He didn’t manage his money — this is a man who never actually had to pull out his checkbook and sign a check — he had people do it for him. Although I feel bad about how he didn’t dot his i’s and cross his t’s in regards to the people who worked for him, but the man is gone and he is still have money problem because his handlers are incompetent. I’m sorry, but his financial people SUCK.

YOU are the MORON, go somewhere else, no one cares about you….HATER. I never said everything he did was perfect. I never said he was a God, so you’re the moron. He was the sweetest person on earth. And if you think that he was in control of his finances think again, people like that have others to take care of that kind of thing, so if they didn’t do their job it’s not his fault. You hire people and trust they will do the job you hired them for, not to keep looking over their shoulder all the time. MORON.

Nobody said he was PERFECT. We all make mistakes. And he’s not the only celebrity to make mistakes like this, he’s went thru a lot in his life and no matter what he was going thru, he always showed love to people. He was NEVER mean to anyone, especially his fans and even acknowledging them during the trial that nearly killed him, he still got on top of that car and acknowledge the love he has for his fans….NO ONE ELSE WOULD EVER HAVE DONE THAT.

      • MJJisLovedForever

Correction: He got on top of that car and acknowledged his fans showing them he loved them and thanking them for being there and supporting him.

And it’s a FACT that MJ is in the guiness book of records for giving the MOST money to the MOST charities, more than any other celebrity. I hate the fact that they always make a BIG deal out of brad/angelina for helping the poor but when it came to MJ they didn’t. Brad/angelina are snobs.

You forget that Tohme Tohme was in charge of his finances up until MJ fired him in May ’09. He signed the checks, and on the recorded phone conversation MJ had with his spiritual advisor, June Gatlin, MJ said he didn’t even know what was in his accounts. He then fired Tohme Tohme. I’m not letting MJ entirely off the hook because he really should not have given someone so much authority without overseeing it.

Nobody’s perfect. No-one. We’re all pretty much doing the best we can here, for better or for worse. But not having enough money to pay your bills and juggling debt is surely is no reason for a person who gave ridiculuous amounts of money to their own children’s charity for years, and who did so much in terms of time and aids awareness – when his career was bouyant; to essentially be hounded to death by a rabid media and a careerist ex-DA.

This was a man’s life. And it was stolen from him.

TT: Your right about Tome. Michael had been under a great deal of stress almost to the point of a nervous breakdown due to the trial. This isn’t to make accuses for him, just to state facts. After the trial he left the country for 2 years and said he’d never live in Neverland again, although he had no intention of selling it. In that time he wasn’t managing his affairs properly and let things start to fall apart at his property. Hiring someone to do your finances doesn’t mean you stop paying attention to what’s going on. That’s very dangerous. It doesn’t matter how wealthy you are. Michael was the guy in charge and still needed to be running his “shop”, in a matter of speaking. He gave Dr. Tome too much authority including check writing privilages. He eventually became afraid of the guy and finally fired him last May after he learned that Tome wrongfully authorized an auction and apparently sent threatening letters to clients, among other things. And, like you said, MJ lost track of his accounts.

Details: Dr. Tohme Tohme was hired by Jackson just over 2 years ago to help save Neverland Ranch from forclosure in 2008. He did do this and since Jackson’s death he has filed a creditor’s claim against the estate saying he was never paid a fee for his serices regarding the property. As already mentioned, Jackson fired him last May due to other issues.
