A car carrying Lindsay Lohan was involved in a minor accident Saturday night on the 1600 block of N. Cahuenga Blvd. in Hollywood, a rep for the LAPD confirms to EW. The incident, caught on tape, occurred at 12:30 a.m. when paparazzi surrounded the vehicle, driven by an unidentified female, as it attempted to leave — and clipped a paparazzo, who injured his wrist. A police report was filed and there is an ongoing traffic collision investigation, the LAPD rep says. But reports that the driver is a person of interest in a criminal assault with a deadly weapon investigation are “not correct,” according to the police spokeswoman.

why don’t the police consider this kind of thing just an escape from kidnappers? . . . since when in America do people have a right to prevent you from leaving somewhere you want to leave? . . . that is imprisonment and a crime in and of itself . . . Um, you stick your camera and part of your body in front of a moving car to get a picture and then get mad and whiny when the car jams into your thumb (or whatever, I couldn’t really understand what he was saying was wrong with him)? Seems like the price you pay for getting that one more snap of Lindsay (gasp!) DRIVING AWAY IN A CAR DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Ridiculous on all counts.

did u c the jay leno show on 1-13-10? it was hilarious. it showed this whole accident where this fat photographer was not even close to the car which lohan was in. then another photographer asked this dork if he was ok. the guy put on an act like he was in major pain all of sudden. in the video, the guy’s injured hand was nowhere near the car. it was hilarious.
