The CW unveiled its midseason lineup today, including the return of America’s Next Top Model and the new drama Life Unexpected. The 14th cycle of Model will come back with a two-hour premiere on March 3 while Life – a drama about a foster teenager (Brittany Robertson) who reunites with her biological parents – will bow on Jan. 18, the same night that One Tree Hill returns with new episodes. Thursday dramas The Vampire Diaries and Supernatural will return with original episodes on Jan. 21 while Smallville reemerges with new episodes on Jan. 22.
The CW’s Tuesday lineup of 90210 and Melrose Place will return with originals on March 9. Repeats of Life and Gossip Girl will air Wednesdays beginning Jan. 20 until Top Model debuts on that night. Originals of Girl come back on April 19.
ANTM needs to end. I used to watch every season (sorry, cycle) but I finally quit the show this fall. It’s just painful and boring now and the girls are immature and irritaing. A far cry from the early years. And why does 90210 have such a long hiatus? March?? That’s almost 4 months between new episodes. Silly.
I like ANTM – it’s so unrelated to my life, I get a kick out of it. Why don’t you just not watch it and let me enjoy it?
ANTm is alot of fun to watch still in my opinion. My friends and I bet on the girls each episode and that always makes it exciting. ANTM forever!
I actually think Life Unexpected looks good, but I am livid about Gossip Girl not returning until April. Why is the traditional season run a dying thing these days?
Gossip Girl is coming back January 20 and airing until Top Model comes on March 3. It will then resume again in April.
Really? The article says repeats are airing on Wednesdays until Top Model comes back. That would also means its moving nights since One Tree Hill and the new show are on Mondays. I hope you’re right though!

New episodes of Gossip Girl, before LUX, begin March 8.
On April 19, LUX is done and both OTH and GG air new episodes for the rest of the season.

I am a 26 year old straight male, and I love ANTM! I hope it stays on T.V forever… or at least until I die.
I think you could use Victorian women adventurers as the basis for an episode.
They serve as models of women with style, women such as the young Lady Burton accompanying her husband through Africa or Gertrude Bell meeting with Near Eastern potentates, who traipsed through unknown places in all the sartorial regalia expected of their class.
