Telecommunications giant AT&T announced it is dropping its sponsorship deal with Tiger Woods, joining Accenture and Gillette in cutting ties with the golfer in the wake of allegations of marital infidelity. In a terse statement that did not explain the reasons for the move, AT&T said, “We are ending our sponsorship agreement with Tiger Woods and wish him well in the future.” AT&T’s logo appeared on Woods’ golf bag, and the company served as the sponsor of the AT&T National PGA Tour event that Woods has hosted since 2007.

I’m sure all of you are perfect individuals, with no faults or integrity issues. Please, get a grip. Tiger did something morally wrong and is paying for it, but get off these celebrities’ jocks. There are millions more people in the world who make similar mistakes, but they aren’t famous so no one gives a damn. Stop judging these public figures and worry about your own lives for a change. In fact, make it a New Year’s resolution.
I’m not perfect, but I don’t make $$$ for my endorsement of product. There’s a reason he can could command high prices, and it’s gone now.

it’s too bad he wasn’t comfortable openly being a playboy. no one would care about any of this. it certainly would have made him more interesting (to me, at least). yes, he’s an incredible golfer, but I always thought he came across as a buttoned up goody two shoes bore. cristiano ronaldo gets away with it and no one thinks any less of him as a soccer player.
I can see Vick losing sponsors. The guy electrocuted and drowned dogs. But Tiger? The guy deserves a high five.
