I’m surprised and impressed that Comedy Central would make a decision evidently based on quality rather than ratings. When is the last time THAT happened in television?
Jefah-fah Dunham is awesome when he is controlling the characters. But….when Comedy Central talks him into putting Peanut on a date with Heather Hogan, Walter and Jeff go to couples therapy, etc. But, it was funny when Ahkmed put peanuts into Peanut’s food and he had an allergy – it was hilarious, laugh out loud funny! And THEN re-run the episode for a week and then some…. It set the show up for failure. Jeff and characters are hilarious. His skills are phenomenal! Jeff and characters were not racially biased, or any other bias, he was just plain funny and refreshing =-)
I love Jeff Dunham but didn’t care for the show. It must be hard to try and come up with imaginative skits each week and it rarely was as funny as his specials. Maybe next time…
As far as his skills as a ventriloquist, he’s top notch. He’s one the best I’ve ever seen purely in those terms. The problem is his cornpone humor. Watching him is like being stuck at a family gathering with your least funny relative. I respect him, but I personally don’t find him funny.
Hello,
Whomever the “IDIOT” was that put the shows together for him to do they were, are stupid. They should just let him do his show like he does the specials, and then things would be better. He is getting a little to use to doing the same old lame things. He needs to liven up his routine. He has some very “GOOD” competition out in Las Vegas in Terry Fator, and Jeff had better get busy trying out newer stuff. He does not have to be so vulgar, and vile to make things better. This show was a stupid idea from the go though. He is better at a longer format. That way he can get a going a little bit better.
Thanks,

That’s too bad – Jeff Dunham is freakin’ hillarious and I love(d) his show. The decision not to make a second season is just wrong.
Seriously – I could think of hundreds of other shows that should be cancelled and forgotten about instead!!
Jeff Dunham rulez.
Love from Switzerland!
