Charlie Sheen 911 call released

Tagged:

The Aspen Police Department today released a recording of the 911 call that led to Charlie Sheen’s Dec. 25 arrest. On the tape, Sheen’s wife Brooke Mueller tells the emergency operator “my husband had me…with a knife, and I’m scared for my life, and he threatened me.” The call, which lasted just under four minutes, can be heard here. Sheen was charged with second-degree assault, menacing, and criminal mischief, and he’s scheduled for a court appearance in February.

I don’t know what her intention was when she got involved with Sheen, but I sure hope it was worth it. That poor moron.

Makes you wonder doesn’t it? What’s she looking for? Stardom? Money? Security? Well, that’s the tradeoff when you marry someone with Sheen’s temperament and reputation.

    • Your a good man charlie brown

Be nice to Charlie, two sides to every story

      • Yaha

Oh please. He threatened her with a knife. Two sides?

      • Officer Farva

Yeah, it is not as if he doesn’t have a history of disrespect and abusive-like behavior towards women.

      • Marcy

yeah – at least there were no golf clubs involved

      • Tiger Woods

        Thank God for Charlie Sheen.

  • mario

  • Bale Chris

I think it was a joke shortpeopledate

  • Jenna

I really respect his father, but Mr. Sheen (Charlie) needs some help.

Sure would be nice if the link to the 911 call worked!

    • Chappel

The call can be heard at the link on the left hand side of that page that reads “Brooke Mueller’s 911 Call: Charlie Pulled a Knife”.

Charlie has used up all his excuses I’m really hoping people don’t rush to help him badmouth his ladies or cover things up this time. But, this is hollywood where money is the bottom line and something tells me sadly that those on his payroll or part of his show will not do anything to jeopardize their paycheque. The only person brave enough to speak the truth is his own father. Hope he does it again.

I am not surprised but I still feel sorry for his wife. Just because she knew about his rep. doesn’t mean that she deserved this. Nobody deserves to be treated like this.

I know it takes a bit of time for items posted to be proofread, but the past tense of “lead” is “led.” I’ve been seeing this error a lot lately at work.

Can you threaten to stab your wife to death on Christmas morning and keep your sitcom? ‘Cause if you can, that’s disgusting.

  • Ty

Not to defend him but I didn’t hear him threaten her but what I heard was a bumbling drunk. I’ll save my judgement for if and when the whole story comes out.

  • abi

I AM REALLY SORRY BUT WHY IS IT OKAY FOR U GUYS TO MAKE EXCUSES FOR HIM AND THEN BASH A 19 YRS OLD FOR SOMETHING SIMILAR IS IT BECAUSE THE 19 YR OLD IS A BLACK GUY.WHAT CHARLIE DID IS FAR WORSE THAN WHAT CHRIS DID AND HE IS GETTING ALL THIS EXCUSES.I AM REALLY CONFUSED HERE.

Although I disagree with your use of Caps Lock, I do agree with your point. Not that it’s ever okay to turn to violence in a relationship (male or female), I think bringing a knife into the situation is way worse than trying to hold someone off while you’re driving…Maybe if Chris Brown was white and had an unexplainably popular tv show, he wouldn’t be as ostracized as he has been.

    • Chappel

Sheen and his wife are a couple of out of control drunks and Charlie’s threatening her with a knife, if he really did, was very wrong. But no one was physically injured. No one went to the hospital (and I hope these two can get the help they need so neither of them gets hurt in the future). Chris beat a woman until her face looked like…. well… you saw the pictures. Both situations were wrong but what Chris did was much, much worse.

      • GoddessLu

Well, certainly the outcome was worse in the Chris/Rhianna scenario but this is just as bad. Threatening a loved one, whether with your voice, your fists, your knife is all around WRONG, no matter if any of those implements connected. Maybe this will finally kill that crap ass show of his. AND as someone mentioned in a previous post, a big apology from the court of public opinion should be issued to Denise Richards, whom he obviously slandered. I was married to a similar type–they never change.

    • yambo

You sure are. You want the black beater to be forgiven because he’s black.

  • who cares

innocent til proven guilty? just because a drunk chick calls the cops and says her husband pulled a knife on her doesn’t mean that her husband pulled a knife on her. charlie sheen is a scumbag but that doesn’t mean his wife is telling the truth.

  • Stacie

Why does Charlie Sheen even have a career these days? Shouldn’t this ish have cost him a long time ago?

  • wojo

Some people should not be married -Charlie Sheen is one of them.

  • Lynn

I love how so many people jump immediately to the conclusion that Charlie is in the wrong. Who knows if Brooke was telling the truth or made the whole thing up.
She sure was adamant about wanting to “file a report”. If she was actually under the type of diress that would be caused by someone threatening her with a knife, she sure was calm and collected about it.
But this’ll be another typical Hollywood/Media-driven trial and Charlie will end up getting the short end of the stick no matter what actually happened.
