'Ragtime' revival to end run on Broadway: report

Tags:

The Kennedy Center’s revival of Ragtime will end its run on Broadway Sunday, according to the Washington Post. The $8.5 million production, a streamlined version of the 1998 original, failed to light up the box office during the winter months. By the time it closes this weekend at the Neil Simon Theatre, it will have run for about 60 performances.

    An amazing production.

It really wasn’t that great. Not sure what the producers were thinking.

Part of the problem is it was far too soon to do a revival of a show that’s always being produced somewhere regionally, whether professionally or in community theaters.

A shame… One hoped this pared down production could have found the long-run that its overblown originator couldn’t. I hope I get up to catch it before it’s too late.

I’m putting VD yikes, doesn’t look so good when abbeavirted eh? in my Netflix queue right now. (Darn me it’s Ian Sommerholder or some spelling I can’t remember. I’m terrible with unusual names that are unfamiliar. Blargh.)

Hi there this is kind of of off topic but I was wondering if blogs use WYSIWYG etdiors or if you have to manually code with HTML. I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding experience so I wanted to get advice from someone with experience. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
