I wonder why so many people dislike him? But either way, he lost his wife and that’s sad.

PLEASE!!! Her husband was famous??? give me a break! And her career has gone downhill bigtime….I can’t believe not one of you people are saying anything about her being fired from her last movie! She was fired! How can you tell me her career was going strong???…it wasn’t, and hasn’t for a long time… I agree with giving her family privacy for now…But seriously people, if she was so healthy, which she wasn’t, how does a 32 year old supposedly healthy young woman, just up and die? Some of you have put her up on a huge podium like she was the best actress out there…not even close to it..SHE WAS SICK, and something needs to be done to find out why she passed away!

Brad dear, did you know Brittney personally? I seriously doubt it, nor do I doubt any truth to your words. You are being silly. Unless you are part of her family, you have NO business judging what was her demise, my friend. She could have had a heart problem from birth, or died from a blood clot … so to make such harsh comments when you, yourself, have no REAL clue to Brittney’s well-being, is wayyy off base. Not only that, it’s just flat out ignorant.

I said to my husband when the news broke that she did not look well to me in the recent pictures being shown. That could be due to any number of things. It is truly sad what has happened and I hope her family finds some measure of comfort as time passes.
She really will be missed as a performer, as she was refreshing and a true joy to watch!

I met her on the set of Clueless way back when & remember that Ms. Silverstein is who everyone was talking about after the release. All I could think was wow, Ms. Murphy, you’re going places. So sorry to her family & friends that not all those places got to feel her sparkle. RIP.

    • @Brad

Tough to believe you Brad, when you think the lead actress was someone named Ms Silverstein.

        lmao @brad

      Hi Brad,
Reading your take, looks like your Clueless… Who?

She was WAY to thin, so much so that it worried me way before she collapsed. And being that thin is not healthy for anyone.
But what is important is the fact that we lost a very beautiful and talented actress. For whatever reason she is gone. And it is tragic and sad, I will miss her movies and her smile very much.

So many judgemental people on here. I don’t really care how it happened or why, all I know is someone who looked like such a sweet fun person is gone so young. Brittany was an actress I could watch, even in movies that weren’t so great, but she always was a joy to watch onscreen. This is very sad.

All i can say is that i loved brittany murphy, she was a wonderful actress, And i know she will be greatly missed. Gone but not forgotten….

I will miss her laugh. She was a ray of sunshine and could make me smile. To her family…sorry to lose such a beautiful soul.

Ridiculous. Compare her figure in Clueless to how she looked in her last interview. No way was the final appearance her “natural body shape”. She was severely underweight. Anybody who thinks that is normal to anyplace except Hollywood needs to get their head examined. Women are supposed to have curves and not look at 32 like they probably did at age 12. Brittany Murphy had curves in all of her appearances up til how she looked earlier this year and then she looked emaciated.

I was not going to comment on Brittany. However, I do agree w/many comments here. She did become extremely thin. Was never a fan of any of her “B” rated movies.

My sympathy to HER MOTHER!!! I think the husband is “DOG POO”.

No matter what happened, we lost someone special. If she did have a problem it was because of negative people like you. Personally I believe Brit deserves better than what your giving her. Her family needs positive people right now.

DID HE JUST SAY NATURAL PHYSIQUE!NATURAL!

I commented on several blogs on Sunday after hearing about Brittany Murphy’s death. But here I am again because it’s so hard to grasp. I so enjoyed her movies — she was such a vibrant presence on the screen. I so wish she were still w/ us. I pray for her Mother, husband and extended family and friends. Such a huge loss to them all and to Brittany Murphy’s fans. May God keep us all and may Brittany rest in peace in Him.

I don’t think it’s disrespectful to be concerned that someone was far too thin. It’s not insulting to the family — it’s actually demonstrating a belief that we should stop demanding our actresses be twigs. It’s not healthy. I don’t know what’s true and what’s not, but she acted for about 8 or 9 years at one weight, then played someone with an eating disorder in Girl, Interrupted. She never looked the same after that. I think it’s worth considering the connection — did she lose that weight under the supervision of a dietician who had a re-gain plan for her? Or did she starve herself and begin a lifetime of bad habits? Who knows.

But hubby’s “for her female time” makes me think that age difference mattered a LOT. He speaks as if he lost his daughter, not his wife. It’s unnerving.

Brittany Murphy was an inspiration to me, she made me want to smile more, and laugh a little harder, and step out of the ordinary and be extraordinary. I love you Brittany and one day I hope to meet you, on the other side. You will always be an inspiration to me, your sweet and bubbly disposition led me to be MORE comfortable with myself. To all whom loved Brittany, God Bless you and keep you until you meet again. My prayers go out to YOU…
    Tara
