People.com is reporting that Jon and Kate Gosselin are officially divorced, after filing papers in June. In a statement, Kate said: “I am very relieved that our divorce has been finalized, and I look forward to the New Year, focusing on the children. On behalf of myself and my legal team, I want to express my deep appreciation to the Judge and his staff, as well as to the arbitrator, for resolving this case. This has been a challenging transition for all of us, but I am confident that we will move ahead with the important task of restructuring our lives.”
Jon has yet to issue a public statement.

That was the single-stupidest comment in all of recorded history.
I am firmly in Jon’s camp as opposed to Kate’s (because I found her abusive as a spouse), but dang! Jon got his rear end handed to him, and through much fault of his own. What these two need to realize is that they have no talent, and their fame was based on them not having special talents but by having 8 kids. They need to go away (and NOT patchup their marriage) just to get back to real reality. The gravy train has stopped for them (like countless reality “stars” before them) and left no one with their dignity or pride intact. Reality fame is a fickle illusion, sur you got papadouchebags following you, but that is not a career and does not earn a living. It is time to go back to basics and learn how to be normal again (albeit a better normal, since both of them have been working hard at being unlikeable.)
Jon is indeed free – how about a trip to Sweden for the holiday season – he doesn’t have to be alone this new year eve – just call up Elin
Elin only dates people with money, so he’s out.

the collective “we” did leave them alone – it was them that decided that the world should know what is going on in their little insignificant lives leading up to the DIVORCE..
Now, if “WE” could only be free of them!! I really feel for those kids & Kate has my sympathy. However, both Jon & Kate share the burden & blame for this fiasco that has become their lives. I really hope they call a truce now & just crawl under their respective rocks. I’m so beyond sick of ALL of them!!! Go Away….Far, Far Away!!
