Disney has abandoned plans to make Wild Hogs 2: Bachelor Ride, Variety reports. The studio didn’t reveal the reasons for abandoning the project. The sequel to the 2007 hit had been set to shoot by summer 2010 with John Travolta, Tim Allen, Martin Lawrence and William H. Macy reprising their roles.

Although I enjoyed Wild Hogs, I believe the reason the sequel was scrapped was because of the disastrous review (see Lisa Schwarzbaum) and low turn out of the recent movie “Old Dogs” with the same director.
Why am I not surprised?
Smart move. No need to flush more money down the toilet, even if it did make some 2 years ago.
