…really? Did they not see the American Dad right after this about the rapture? It had a gay oral sex joke and Jesus blasting a shotgun.

They get upset about odd things.

I was thinking the same thing! I figured the PTC would FREAK about the American Dad episode, but instead they get upset about a cartoon lap dance?!? I was actually surprised by how tame it was. It could have been a lot worse knowing Family Guy.

They could do the most simple thing they could not watch the show if they dont watch they have nothing to complain about

The PTC is a good example of a group of people who are too lazy to take responsibility for their own kids. “I really need television to raise my kids, so it needs to be ‘G’ rated at all times”. Parental Controls anyone?

9:00 p.m. on a Sunday night? My kids were in bed. I thought it was hysteerically funny.

If parents don’t like programming like Family Guy, Nip/Tuck, or It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia then DON’T LET THEM WATCH IT!! I love shows like that, but they aren’t designed for small children. It’s the parents’ responsibility to monitor what their children watch, not the government’s. Just because it’s animated doesn’t mean it’s Disney.
ps. PTC, the “Family Hour” was abolished years ago. Find appropriate programming, don’t force the the networks to serve it to you on a silver platter! I dream of an America with nudity and f-words on network TV. But with groups like this I think we’ll continue to be stuck in an oppressive past.

I couldnt agree more with the PTC, i need the government and studios to control what my kids watch. Its not like theres a rating system or a chip that allows me to block shows with certain ratings…

Isn’t there a warning at the beginning of each episode that the ‘content may not be suitable’?

  • srsly?

    Dear Parents,
If you don’t like what’s on television, there’s a magical button on that glowing box that turns it off!
