it’s ALL about the hoedown throwdown!! instant classic with an awesome dance
Well…well…well…that many songs to be considered for Oscar Best Song. I think that is much, too much. But if I had to narrow it down to the 5 nominees, it would be: WINTER, All IS LOVE,CINEMA ITALIANO, WEARY KIND and (I WANT TO) COME HOME with the Oscar winner going to WEARY KIND from “Crazy Heart.” Somehow they just aren’t writing songs for films like they used to…meaning the song was catchy enough to be on the music charts (MOON RIVER…anyone?).
Time for Miracles sung by Adam Lambert from the movie 2012 is not even on this list but there are 5
Hannah Montana songs. What the f__k!
Geez you are f***ing stupid if you can’t understand what this is list is about. ELIGIBILITY.
There’s more originality in Hollywood’s songs these days than its movies…
WHAT? ‘Time For Miracles’ from 2012 is not on this list?? are you people HIGH???
Number 1: That song sucks.
Number 2: It’s not eligible. These are not nominees. These are songs that are eligible for a nomination.
I know the song isn’t eligible, but I take exception to your characterization that TFM sucks. It it my single favorite song on the album. Gets me in the heart every time.
As long as “All is Love” is on there, I’m good.
“Stu’s Song”
EPIC WIN.
Wait for it, wait for it . . .
Oh I missed the posts about Adam Lambert! ha!!!! I knew they’d come a swarming.
The list begins and ends with your first song on the list: “All is Love” clear and far away the best song of the year in a movie.
OH Please let the Academy nominate a song from a film called “Oy Vey! My son is Gay!”
I know where the wild things are… with oscars for best original song in their furry hands!
All is love or Petey’s song!!!
What?!?
No “Time for miracles”?!?!
Sorry, I hadn’t seen the second and third page of comments saying it isn’t eligible…
