How epic would it be if Stu’s song from the hangover was nominated…?
So epic!!!!
I’m sure The Princess and the Frog will be nominated because that film had so many amazing songs. But that’s the only one I’m sure about.
The only locks for a nod I see are I SEE YOU (Avatar), CINEMA ITALIANO (Nine) and at least one song from The Princess And The Frog. The other two slots are open….
Stu’s Song for the win! “Don’t you worry your pretty striped head, we’re gonna get you back to Tyson and your cozy tiger bed.” Classic.
“Stu’s Song” from “The Hangover”
it better win
Wow, only 63?
FYI: There is no ‘jump’ – just a list following the sentence about the jump.
Cinema Italiano!
Poor Miley Cyrus. The only really good song from her movie was “The Climb” and that’s not elgible. Oh well!
That being said. I hope Princess and the Frog and Where the Wild things are get nominated! Beautiful music!
You’ve Got Me Wrapped Around Your Little Finger from “An Education” is a beautiful song. I hope it gets a nom
New moon is on the list too…da only think good on the movie was da soundtrack…lol
It’s obviously gonna come down to these six songs:
“Back to Tennessee” from “Hannah Montana The Movie”
“Butterfly Fly Away” from “Hannah Montana The Movie”
“Don’t Walk Away” from “Hannah Montana The Movie”
“Hoedown Throwdown” from “Hannah Montana The Movie”
“You’ll Always Find Your Way Back Home” from “Hannah Montana The Movie”
“Stu’s Song” from “The Hangover”
Umm, yea. Obviously.
I’m noddin’ my head like yeah.
Hope New Divide by Linkin Park is at least nominated.
I want not only for it to be nominated but I want it to win!
What if with the rules change none of them get nominated?
How awesome would it be if Linkin Park gets nominated? I’d love to see the look on uppity Hollywood’s faces to see Linkin Park rocking out!
I agree. I lived that song from the moment it played.
Three 6 Mafia got nominated for “It’s Hard Out Here For a Pimp” I think Linkin’ Park has a chance.
3 6 Mafia WON with It’s hard out here for a pimp.
I don’t blame you Maureen. We never had a cool song win an Oscar. I love Linkin Park and it’s about time the Oscar voters did the right thing and give “New Divide” a well deserved Oscar win! I’ll explain why. About 98% of the songs that have won in the 82 year history were all songs that we don’t care about or are too boring. It’s about time we had a cool song win. I too loved that song the moment it was released. I saw “Transformers 2″ and cheered louldly in the theater as I read Linkin Park’s name in the end credits. If there’s any justice, this song must win the Oscar that it deserves, and I wanna see that happen. I want to see Linkin Park performing and accepting the Best Song Oscar. That song really deserves it.
If “Stu’s Song” is nominated, it had better be performed. I was furious when they didn’t perform the songs at last year’s Oscars and “Jai Ho” won.
They did perform Jai Ho, Down to Earth, and O saya at the 2009 Oscars.
OMG please give Youve Got Me Wrapped Around Your Little Finger a nom! That’s such a fantastic song and it’s perfect in the film
