Natalie Portman will star in and produce Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, Variety reports. The film, based on the bestselling book that mixes Jane Austen and flesh-eating zombies, will be financed and distributed by Lionsgate. Portman will play Elizabeth Bennett.

a movie? is that really necessary? the book wasn’t any good. it initially seemed like an interesting idea, but ended up just ruining the characters.

I love the P&P and tried to read P&P&Zombies but just couldn’t get through it. I didn’t think it was that clever or entertaining. I’m not opposed to Natalie as any kind of Elizabeth Bennett, but I don’t see the need for this movie.

P&P is my favorite Jane Austin. The Natalie Portman movie is not one that I will watch. I can’t even imagine why this movie of all movies would be chosen for such destruction.
