The man who sucker-punched Jersey Shore‘s Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi in promotional clip that quickly went viral, it turns out, is a New York City public school teacher, according to The New York Post. Queens gym teacher Brad Ferro, 24, is the culprit and has subsequently been moved out of the classroom and into one of the system’s reassignment centers, agency officials said. Police said that Ferro and “Snooki” began a verbal altercation at Beachcomber Bar & Grill in Seaside Heights, N.J., which led to him striking her in the face. He was subsequently arrested, which New York City education officials claim they hadn’t heard about sooner because it was out of state.

Haven’t seen the clip. Is the guy’s face blurred? If not then STAGED in the sense that the producers set up to have the altercation take place but it went farther than they expected.

I rewound that clip several times b/c I can’t believe MTV showed it at all.
He may be wrong, but I have seen too many tacky Jersey and New York girls get all up in a man’s face under the “protection” that “men don’t hit women.”
Getting in a man’s face is not enough reason. If she had thrown a punch first or slapped him, I would understand. But the guy clearly was WRONG, no maybe about that.
Violence against women should NEVER be tolerated. That kind of violence, punching,always escalates into something even worse. These MTV and VH1 reality shows are getting out of control.

I think men should NEVER hit women. But I also think women should be at home, fixing the mans dinner and taking care of the children. If you want to be equal then accept the consequences and quit whining about it. Maybe it taught her a lesson about being a skanky ho and getting all mouthy up in a mans face. But i doubt it.
