VH1 has announced plans for a new reality series about the wives and girlfriends of several major basketball stars, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Basketball Wives will focus on the unique challenges that go along with being married to an NBA star, spotlighting the spouses of Shaquille O’Neal, Eric Williams, Antoine Walker, Jermaine O’Neal, and Udonis Haslem. The eight-episode, half-hour series will premiere March 15, 2010.
