FX announced today that the final nine episodes of Nip/Tuck will begin airing Jan. 6 while the third season of Damages will kick off Jan. 25. FX’s new drama Justified (formerly Lawman) starring Timothy Olyphant will bow in March, while the network’s new comedy Louie starring comedian Louis C.K. will launch in the spring. FX will also debut a new animated comedy called Archer – which is set at a spy agency – on Jan. 14.
Guest stars for the final season of Nip/Tuck include Melanie Griffith, Joan Rivers, Mario Lopez, Frances Conroy, Donna Mills and Joan Van Ark while Lily Tomlin and Keith Carradine will join the new season of Damages.
Hooray for Damages! I take it that since he’s getting his own show, Timothy Olyphant won’t be back. I liked Ellen with a guy as screwed up as she is.

I’ve been watching the (excellent) first 2 seasons of Nip/Tuck on dvd, and am amazed at what a parody of itself the current version of the show has become. It’s not going out to pasture a minute too soon. What a shame; it used to be such a well written show, and now it’s like a fictional version of Jerry Springer.
agree..season 3 was also ok..but last two years ugh…kill some of these people off already..
Oh I agree! I gave up on that show two season ago. It’s just gotten worse and worse. I do think that this season is a bit better, but still I’m glad it’s going to be over soon.

I think Nip/Tuck is as fantastic as ever, so I’ll be sad to see it go.

considering N/T had an episode a couple seasons ago showing the futures of all the characters, i cant help but wonder how theyre going to end it. in my opinion, while i still love the show, it definitely lost something the last two seasons.

“Sons of Anarchy” is absolutely the best show on television. I haven’t read anything regarding its renewal which seems odd seeing as how incredible Season 2 was and how well it was doing on Tuesdays. What is the holdup on renewal?
I could be wrong, but didn’t they say at the conclusion of the season 2 finale that Sons would be back next (2010)year?
I’m in complete agreement with all who call SOA the best show on TV.
Though, I’m seriously looking forward to Timothy Olyphant in “Justified” this March. Anybody familiar with my previous favorite show “Deadwood” can understand my excitement. “Bullock” is back baby!.
