David Hasselhoff is at home after being hospitalized for part of Thanksgiving weekend, a representative for the actor and America’s Got Talent judge tells EW. Hasselhoff was released Nov. 29 after spending a day and a half being treated for an undisclosed medical condition which did not involve alcohol. “David is totally fine and home with his kids,” his attorney told Access Hollywood.

David Hasselhoff continues to be a public embarrassment as well as a major embarrassment to his family. You would think that after all the unflattering video that has come out over the past few years that the guy would take sobriety seriously and pull himself together. It amazes me that someone with all his money and resources continues to throw his career away while leaving a pathetic legacy. What an absolute loser.
lol, you don’t even know what happened yet.
Casey, connect the dots.
Jeff, take a breath.
You know what, you have absolutely NO clue what you are talking about, jeff. As a recovering alcoholic myself, I can attest that it is a HORRIBLE disease, and it affects millions of families around the world. Calling him a Loser is a terrible thing to say. Addiction is a VERY powerful disease, it consumes your life, your being, your everything. Nothing else matters to you except for when/where/how you are going to get your next drink. Now that being said, HE is the one who has to make the decision to do something about it… and it CAN be done, and it is totally not about money OR resources. It’s about having the WILLINGNESS TO CHANGE HOW YOU LIVE. What amazes me is that you have gall to call this man a loser when you obviously have no effing clue what the hell you are talking about. My heart goes out to David Hasselhoff and his family, and I hope and pray that he makes the decision to change his life…. but that by NO MEANS makes him a loser. A**hole. The End.
I agree with a lot of what you say. However, my main point is that the stakes are pretty high for D.H. and it continues to amaze me that with all his resources and all the people in his life he still hasn’t been inspired to change. I think the embarrassment he has put his family through is shameful. Also, I don’t care about him, I care about his young daughter who will be damaged psychologically from all of this. I stand by my comment – for shame.
Another loser drunk…when will people learn?
So why the statement – “did not involve alcohol” – interesting choice of words – makes me wonder if there are other “chemical” imbalances in his life…
May be THE HOFF just needs to take a long, long break from his own reality
Got four words for you. Are you ready? Here they are: Who. Gives. A. F%*K.
Everyone has their demons – So to all of you out there in blog-land…Don’t Hassle THE HOFF!!!!
You should feel shamed, Jeff. You still dont get it, and obviously never will. I feel for his family as well… I dont really give a rats ass about the Hoff either except I’d like to see him get better. Alcoholism is a mother f***er. It will steal everything that is most important to you and before you know it everything is gone. But I still stand by my words… that does NOT make him a loser… he’s a lost soul that needs to find his way… and that may not happen. Unfortunately us Alcoholics don’t have a very high success rate, and most of the time it ends in death. I hope this is not the case for him.
What does make some one a loser?
I think David’s publicist or whoever released this statement needs to look up the word TOTALLY in the dictionary because if it’s one thing Hoff is not, it’s “totally” fine.
His repeat hospitalizations are beyond sad. The only thing that might come of this is a greater awareness of the seriousness and the prevalence of alcoholism. The recorded images of him that have been seen on youtube and everywhere else, are the only times I’ve ever actually seen alcoholism documented with any degree of accuracy. I hope he survives this disease…
