Whoever cancelled Moonlight is an idiot. If they had any foresight at all, they would have realized that although Moonlight didn’t pull in huge numbers its first season, vampire dramas were becoming a phenomenon (the Twilight series was becoming a serious force when they decided to cancel Moonlight). All of those Twilight fans would have turned to Moonlight to get their fix in between movie releases! Moonlight would also have brought younger viewers to CBS.

    • Valley Girl

Yeah, they should have have canceled “Moonlight” in the first place. Now let’s hurry up and get to “Being Human” on the BBC already!

  • Andrew

“Flashpoint” needs to replace this show. I miss watching it.

      Me too!

I’m sorry Three Rivers is finished.
It gave me my Alex fix. I loved Moonlight too – it was the perfect
role for Alex – protective, sweet,
tender, vulnerable and totally sexy. He’s a great actor. I’ve had
it with CBS, they can rot. Alex
deserved better from them, but they
really didn’t care, with all the
roadblocks they placed in TR’s way.
    Unfortunately, they don’t have to
give a rats ass what anyone thinks
because they are the top network.

Well, I guess CBS can just plug another crappy reality show in Three Rivers spot. When are the producers going to stop looking at dollars signs and start looking at the quality of shows like Three Rivers? Or at least listen to the viewers, but I guess we can’t have that happening. I can’t even sit through Grey’s whatever the hell it’s called, I’ve actually fallen asleep from boredom trying to watch it. Three Rivers was one of the reasons I looked forward to the end of the weekend. Yes, I watched Moonlight and am a big Alex fan but this show was my Sunday potroast, it was wholesome, filling and stuck with me long after it was over. One of the best cast I’ve ever seen. Strong characters who actually gave a damn. Positive female role models, interesting and informative medical information without getting preachy. This is a show I didn’t mind getting invested in, it was well worth it and will be greatly missed.

I am getting so sick of me starting to watch and love new shows just for them to be canceled. I an trying to decide if it is even worth watching anything new at all any more. Ya know this show hit home for me as a transplantee who waited IN the hospital for a year. Now, from what I went through the show was a bit lenient–shall we say–with the facts and I used to get mad at the inaccuracies but I got over it because to show the truth it would not be “good” for ratings. A perfect example is Cual who just walked in to a hospital with no insuance and demanded Andy to do a transplant. Real life doesn’t work that way. Also, again I know this would not be good for ratings but I had friends die in that year I was stuck in the hospital waiting on a heart. They never got their heart in time and I was pretty much on deaths door by the time I finally got mine due to O blood. They don’t mention that part either. We wait longer than anybody else because we are universal donors but can only receive our own blood type/heart. I’ve seen AB patients come and go in as little as 2 months and it was depressing for me to see people come in way after me and leave way before me. Still, even with the inaccuracies I loved the show and it is a shame CBS gave up already.

I hate it for Daniel Henney, Alfre Woodard and Katherine Moennig. These 3 were the best and under rated actors on this show. I hope these 3 get a show together. This show and Alex were just awful. I hope CBS learns and gets rid of Alex all together. Everything he is in flops and is horrible.

  • Donna

CBS took an ensemble show and tried to make it the Alex show. That is why people refused to watch. Lots of people hate the man because of the behind kissing he does to CBS.

    • Linda

OK Donna, how does Alex “kiss behind”? CBS liked him, even though
      they cancelled Moonlight, and tried
a new show with him in the lead role. He’s hardly in about half of the scenes. You must be a bitter
Daniel Henney or Kate Moennig fan.
The only good thing about TR being
      cancelled is that Alex O’Loughlin
fans won’t have to read about people like you complaining all the
      time.

  • bruno

    shocker.

  • Jester

I say that O’loughlin should be a lead on the Criminal Minds spinoff since 1) it’s likely to be a hit and he can finally have one and 2) he’s supposedly still got a holding deal with CBS. I know that he appeared as a criminal on the original series but plenty of actors play various characters in the same “universe.” Jerry Orbach played one character on Law and Order and later became the star of the show. Just a thought.

  • Melinda

I’d rather see Moonlight again, than this stupid show. I hope they do cancel it, it’s boring and not believable.

  • Marie

I’m so sick of getting into a show and these idiots constantly yank it away from us!!!!!!!!!! The first thing they should do is MOVE Three Rivers and give it a better chance on a different night & time! It is completely stupid & moronic to expect a brand new show to survive on Sunday nights when nobody knows when it’s going to be on because of football constantly running over!!!!! I swear if they cancel this show I will NEVER watch a new show on CBS again, and I mean it! I’m sick of this crap!

  • Pat

just make us happy and bring back moonlight already! :D

  • David

I really think CBS is at fault the way they handled Three Rivers in its schedule. They would have been better off putting the show on Monday or Thursday nights at 10, opposite that terrible show Private Practice.

  • xyzwanda

NCIS:LA you have officially been canceled with this move!! You were the perfect time slot between NCIS and the Good Wife!! Now, get ready to say good bye.

    • Jester

It says that RERUNS of NCIS LA will be in the Three Rivers slot. It’s normal slot between NCIS and The Good Wife still exists. Apparently your comprehension skills are lacking lol

  • Sienna

Frankly, I’m relieved. I’m pretty much only watching the show because of Alex O’Loughlin. At first, I thought it was okay. But it’s just gotten tiresome for me. I’m kind of bored when I watch it. However, I have trouble giving up on a show once I’ve started watching it, unless it’s really and truly terrible (which “Three Rivers” isn’t). So having it removed from the schedule is welcome by me.

  • CHRISSY

Three rivers is a great show. It should keep running.
