The kiss really isn’t the issue. It’s the forceful S & M take on oral fellatio that bothers me. His performance from beginning to end was sorta S & M’ish which is what turned me off. I am lesbian and I think Adam’s performance took the gay movement back a step. My partner n I have been in a long term relationship w/ an adopted child and r stable common sense ppl. I think it’s sad that Adam’s performance will just give the public more reason to label us into certain categories that the majority of Gays/Lesbians do not belong in or condone. I’m truly saddened by his ignorance of how much he has harmed the gay/lesbian community as a whole.

You intolerant idiots are the ones who need help. Get educated. You are clearly threatened by viewing homosexual acts because unconsciously it really turns you on. And that can’t happen, can it? You know what is obscene? It’s a country refusing health care to its citizens and allowing their poor to go hungry. Instead of focusing on a beautiful, artistic, kind, talented, intelligent and articulate young man, you should be thinking about what you can do to help others. CBS is ridiculous. The controversy was not the kiss, but other actions that probably have never been seen on network tv. Men have kissed on almost every network without controversy. Lambert did some vulgar things that had nothing to do with two men kissing each other on the lips. And I believe that at least one involved a woman.
Britney Spears has shoved dancers’ faces into her crotch numerous times. Christina Aguilera’s “Dirrty” video showed more acts in longer duration than anything Adam did. Snoop Dogg once showed up at a similar awards show with two women on leashes.

Adam’s shenanigans weren’t sexy. They were violent and disrespectful. That has no place on TV as far as I’m concerned. Very disappointing.
I would expect a flailing network like CBS to censor anything that reeked of news.
The issue of this article is why it is ok for The Early Show to show two females kissing but not ok to show two males, even though there are two soap operas that are shown during the day that have a gay storyline and show men kissing on there.
There is a lot of hatred and bigotry in the comments, ironic that a lot of it comes from people who consider themselves “Christians.” I have a question for you. What Would Jesus Do when it comes to gay people? I think it would be a good idea for you to go back to your Bible and read what Jesus had to say, you know the little words in red, and start treating your brothers and sisters the way Jesus would have wanted.

I have been physically assaulted by gays twice, and my buddy was also. I have had gays seek my affection and then badmouth me to the girls, to try and sabotage me.
