After temporarily shutting down production on Cougar Town Nov. 20 so star Courteney Cox could “deal with a private family matter,” ABC has confirmed that the series will be back in production Nov. 30. According to a rep, shooting was halted for only one day prior a scheduled week-long holiday hiatus. Though Cox’s rep still hasn’t elaborated on why the star had to briefly step away from production, she told EW that “[Cox] and her family are doing fine and she will be returning to the set following Cougar Town’s planned Thanksgiving hiatus.” Actress Busy Philipps also reached out to her co-star’s fans on Twitter: “We’re back shooting after Thanksgiving. I’ll pass along the love for cc!”

The show is very smart and funny. The title of the show does not do it justice.
It’s an awesome show, I don’t know what you’re talking about. It’s a show about an older woman rediscovering her sexuality and zest for life while balancing that with the life she leads as a mother and entrepreneur. I think it’s inspirational and fun.
If you don’t watch it, how do you know it’s a bad show?
What makes this show so bad? Why should it be cancelled on January 4th, 2010? It just doesn’t make that you can’t form a grammatically correct sentence, yet you’re critizing this show – have you even watched it? Yes, the plot is about an older woman checking out younger men, but it’s also about discovering who you are, and enjoying all the bumps in life along the way.
I can’t stand people who make comments on shows when they don’t even know what is going on in the show in the first place!
First off, her character is not out not trying to attract every young man that has a pulse, and the ONE younger man she did have a relation ship is over in the current arc of the story. She is exerting her independence and showing that doesn’t need a man to make herself feel good about herself. Really watch the show before you make yourself feel stupid.
