The Virgina State Police has confirmed that a Miley Cyrus tour bus was involved in a deadly crash outside of Petersburg, Va. earlier today. According to a police press release, members of Cyrus’ crew were on board, but the 16-year-old star was not. The driver of the bus, William G. Douglas, 53, of Austin, Texas, died at the scene. The nine other passengers sustained injuries. They exited the vehicle through the front windshield. An investigation is underway to determine why the vehicle went off the road and flipped over.
The Cyrus family posted this message on mileycyrus.com: “We are deeply saddened by the loss of Bill ‘Uncle Bill’ Douglas. Members of our tour are like members of our family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family in the midst of this tragedy. He will truly be missed.”
She’s still doing her show tonight. She’s so sweet.

Where are you people from? This man lost his life in a tragic accident and people are grieving his loss. No matter how you feel about Miley Cyrus and her dad are totally irrelevant. Since she is under contract to perform … she has no choice but to do so. And, Krish, it was not a stunt in the name of Christian profit … that was simply a comment from a person who obviously has no compassion for others.

And as for her performing, if that’s true, millions of fans already bought their tickets, despite the tragedy, they still deserve the show they paid for. I don’t think Miley had a say in the matter, but if she did, I’m sure she was thinking of her fans, and I’m sure it was hard for her to do the concert in the first place.
