Court documents released Friday reveal that Michael Jackson’s doctor Conrad Murray bought the sedative propofol in Nevada and had it shipped to California. The AP reports that Murray’s Las Vegas office had receipts showing that he purchased the powerful drug, which was found near the singer’s bedside when he died and was highlighted in the coroner’s report ruling Jackson’s death a homicide. Murray bought the propofol on May 12 from Applied Pharmacy Services. Cardiologist Murray is licensed in Nevada, California and Texas. Propofol is not regulated as a controlled substance, so it is unclear if Murray broke any laws in purchasing it, shipping it, or administering it. The information revealed in the court documents today is consistent with what Murray told police. The doctor’s lawyer released a statement saying: “The fact that Dr. Murray ordered five bottles of propofol is consistent with what he told investigators.”

What’s really sad is that Michael Jackson was so ill that he told his doctor to administer anesthesia so that he could ’sleep.’ Yes, the Dr holds a responsibility, but MJ held the ultimate responsibility – he was killing himself…..
