Steven Spielberg and Stephen King are joining forces, Variety reports. DreamWorks TV has optioned King’s new supernatural thriller Under the Dome and is eyeing an adaptation as an event series, most likely for cable TV. DreamWorks’ Stacey Snider and Spielberg will executive produce with King, as well as DreamWorks TV heads Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey. OMG yes!!! I’m about half way through the new book and am completely hooked. It is one of his better books over the past couple of years. Although I always did enjoy his larger works ala The Stand and It.
This will be amazing if it is on HBO or Showtime.
This is going to be awesome. I loved Spielberg’s “Taken” and will regularly have little marathons with it. Can only imagine how good it’ll be with King and Spielberg together.
Ohhh wow! The Simpsons Movie: Part 2! Can’t wait!
This is going to be awesome. I loved Spielberg’s “Taken”
With the almost unlimited pool of actors and directors, this “stands” to be the most relevent adaptation of a king novel to date.I would like to see it surpass Rose Red in the scope of production.
When is the talked about air date? And title of the series? And casting and all that?
