Ice Cube got on this list by using the following formula: “Are We There Yet” + “Are We Done Yet?” + “Friday Before Last After That Other Friday” x “The Longshots” = Not a good movie since “Three Kings”. Hey, I like Cube, but if he had been paid $50 per movie, it would still probably be overpaying him.

In the end, you’re worth whatever someone is willing to pay you. I remember Jim Carrey being asked if he thought he was worth $20 million. He said something like, “I don’t know. They offered it, so I took it, and anyone else in my position would have done the same thing.” I’m not crazy about Carrey’s movies, but I do appreciate his honesty.

Does anyone outside of the entertainmnt industry really measure a film’s success through its box office gross? If I like or dislike a movie knowing how well it did won’t change my opinion. Same goes with film stars.

I really enjoyed reading the lively opinions on this list. I love lowbrow comedy. Jim Carrey is my favorite, and I loved Will Farrel in that basketball thing plus the ballad of ricky bobby or whatever. Yeah, it’s mindless, and that’s why we love it. I am way too pressured by the reality we live in all the time and a little stupidity is just what the doctor ordered. All work and no play makes Jill a dull girl
