Following on the success of Dr. Oz’s talk show, Sony Pictures Television and Oprah Winfrey’s Harpo Productions are looking to launch a daytime series for Oprah favorite Nate Berkus in fall 2010, sources told Broadcasting & Cable. The heartthrob design expert has been appearing on The Oprah Winfrey Show since 2001 and hosts his own show on her satellite radio channel. He also anchored her 2008 reality show on ABC, Oprah’s Big Give.

Yay! We love Nate!!!
No wonder she makes so much money. She has a lot of shows under her company.
Having shows alone doesn’t mean money. She has a lot of SUCCESSFUL shows under her company.
As much as I love Nate, I am tired of O only producing daytime shows. Some of us have to work during the day O! Instead, I would love for Nate to have an “Extreme Makeover” kind of show in primetime maybe on Friday that could be a little more free form and less Martha Stewart like talk show.
I agree…she’s eventually going to saturate the daytime market. Think outside the box Harpo.
Hey, Junior – Get a TIVO / PVR. Record shows when they’re on and enjoy in the evening to unwind.
Oprah über alles.
about time….hope he focuses on decorating for renters as well as owners, among the areas he focuses on
What the he**CK can he talk about? besides home improvement?
no one said it would be a talk show.
don’t forget her OWN network will be starting soon, so maybe that’s where this show will go …?
I LOVE NATE!!!! This is an excellent idea. I don’t watch Dr. Oz. But I would not miss Nate’s show =)
Well maybe Oprah wants to get Nate Berkus if she plans to leave her talk show in syndication next year. Maybe use her massive studio set for his show just as she walks away from it? Nate’s got the youthful personality for it and I hope he is successful with the new talk show.
