Farrah Fawcett, who died last June, left $4.5 million for her son, Redmond Fawcett O’Neal, but apparently left nothing for her ex-husband and Redmond’s father, actor Ryan O’Neal, according to a report concerning the contents of the late actress’ will. O’Neal’s publicist this afternoon released this statement from the actor: “Farrah’s and my relationship was based on a deep love and respect for one another and for our son Redmond. After discussing how her financial affairs would be handled in the event of her passing we agreed that our son Redmond would be the primary beneficiary of her estate. These were Farrah’s wishes and I am perfectly happy with them. I sincerely hope that everyone will remember and celebrate the legacy that Farrah left behind, and will now let her rest in peace.”

Should have left it to Ryan to be a trustee for Redmond.
Agreed.
$4.5 million? Wow…. that’s a lot of heroin and meth. Looks like Ryan’s going to be doing a lot of bonding with his son.
Ryan was never married to Farrah.
Way to reward complete and total irresponsibility. Redmond O’Neal deserves nothing. She should have given it to charity.
He is her son. Do you really expect she would turn her back on him?
The money is in a trust, people.
As I recall, the son got into a lot of trouble while Farrah was very sick and sedated. I don’t think she knew he had gone to jail – might have thought that he had finally gotten it together. Or perhaps just never got around to changing her will. Either way, it’s really no ones’s business.
In the end, the bottom line is this: it is none of our business. Would we appreciate strangers passing judgment on our wills?
