A new TV studio formed by toymaking giant Hasbro is planning a new TV series based on the My Little Pony line, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The show could be one of the first on a new cable channel started by Hasbro and Discovery.

It’s embarrassing how excited I am. I’m totally ok with that.
I am excited to, but it won’t be like the orignal series. It’ll be like how they screwed up Strawberry Shortcake when they brung back her, or the carebears.
Leave my childhood alone! My Little Pony, Care Bears, Strawberry Shortcake, Rainbow Brite, Jem…leave all of it alone!
Not surprised to see them make a return. It’s the natural outgrowth of the popularity of the “My Little Pony” vampires (they sparkle!) of Twilight.
Can JEM aka JEM and The Holograms come back next?
