Helena Bonham Carter, Jennifer Ehle, Guy Pearce, Derek Jacobi, Timothy Spall and Michael Gambon have joined the cast of The King’s Speech, from director Tom Hooper. Carter is set to play Queen Elizabeth, alongside an already-cast Colin Firth as King George VI. Geoffrey Rush will play speech therapist Lionel Logue, “who helped the accidental monarch lose his stammer,” according to the Hollywood Reporter.
