Fox announced today that it has picked up Our Little Genius, a new game show from Mark Burnett (Survivor, Are You Smarter Than a 5th-Grader), in which really smart six- to 12-year-olds must answer a series of increasingly challenging questions to win hundreds of thousands of dollars. Parents of the young Einsteins can stop the game at any point and keep the winnings. Eight episodes have been ordered, and Genius will likely debut in a post-American Idol slot early next year, a Fox spokesperson confirmed.

I want to sit in on a Fox pitch session. “You know how we exploited kids on ‘Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?’… Well, this show moves the kids to the front and adds in parental pressure! If we’re lucky, we can give a 7-year old a nervous breakdown on camera for sweeps!”
Q, this is probably the closest to a pitch session FOX conducts. i wouldnt be surprised if they sued you for “listening and exposing studio secrets”
